A wonderful stay! The host, Geraldine, clearly takes pride in her rental and has every detail covered! Great communication, restaurant recommendations, local info awaiting upon arrival, and an immaculate space with all the comforts of home. Clear, concise check-in process. Highly recommend!

Géraldine, your host, is simply extraordinary. She will meet you at the property, give you a tour and provide awesome tips for local shows or markets to visit. Her communication was perfect as well! The place is beautifully decorated and is fully stocked with coffee as well as awesome welcome gifts!

Excellent apartment in Bayeux for my family. My wife and I stayed here with our two boys (13 and 15), and it was perfect for us. Geraldine is a lovely host. The apartment is clean, well kept and convenient to the D-day sites. It is a short 15 minute walk to downtown Bayeux. I highly recommend this apartment.

One of the best VRBO hosts I've ever interacted with—communication was easy and she was super helpful and accommodating. She even offered to make us dinner reservations!The apartment itself is very well-equipped—lots of small touches that really make life easier (e.g. great lighting options, terrific black-out blinds, super quiet and clean). An excellent stay! Highly recommended for families who are touring around Normandy and Bayeux.

Géraldine was a wonderful host. She met us at the well appointed apartment, showed us around and shared great information on the nearby region. The location made getting around that part of Normandy very easy including the nearby D-Day beaches. A couple highlights included a lovely lunch waterside in Barfleur with fresh fish, and the spectacular evening light show at the Cathedral in Bayeux. The only downside was the move of the Tapestry to London just a few days prior to our arrival.

Geraldine is a friendly host. What a nice and clean apartment. It is fully equipped; everything you need is there.It wasn't a problem now, but the advertisement states that air conditioning is available, yet that is not true. There are only fans.Furthermore, the beds are on the small side, and perhaps it is a matter of taste, but we didn't find the mattresses very comfortable.

Geraldine’s apartment is perfectly equipped. She even had wine in the refrigerator for us, and delicious coffee ready for the morning. It is also very close to a grocery store - for us this was an added bonus. Bayeux, in case you don’t know yet, is the best place to stay for touring D-Day sights. If this place is available when you are planning ur trip, GRAB IT! You won’t regret it!

Wonderful stay

We spent five nights here, had a lovely time visiting Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. The apartment is bright and modern, with a great location and designated parking. Geraldine is a wonderful host and communication was easy.

Geraldine our host was amazing! Best host we have ever had on VRBO!!! She was so helpful with booking, check in, dinner ideas, setting up reservations and taxi for us. She met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. Beautiful apartment and would stay there again and highly recommend. The location is great and walking distance to old town. Also great location for all the DDay sights and museums. Thanks Geraldine for making our stay amazing!

Myself and 3 adult family members loved this apartment on the outskirts of Bayeaux. It was exactly as depicted in the description and fully equipped for all our needs (kitchen supplies, laundry, iron, extra blankets, tv/streaming service availability etc). The communication with host Geraldine was exemplary - probably the best I've experienced in over 15 years of renting via VRBO. While the unit is not walkable to the city center of Bayeaux, I felt like we were in a local neighborhood portion of town and it fit our travel needs perfectly. We were treated with a greeting of not only a bottle of red wine and local butter cookies, but a bottle of chilled sparking cider/cidre, a local speciality! Note that the guest bedroom (as seen in photo) is a bunk bed but we did not care, knew it ahead of time. Especially loved how there were electronic blackout shades for bedroom and living quarters. Our only complaint was we had difficulty using the washing machine but that is our own inability to decipher the directions so we ended up with rather long (5 hour!) combo wash/dry sessions so we did it overnight. I suppose we could have googled it (!). We walked to CarteMarche, a rather large supermarket down the street and got all our grocery needs. There's also a pharmacy and other little shops there too. Really no complaints and I esp loved the town/village. We will need to return because the tapestry was on vacation while we visited & I'd be happy to stay here again.

Immaculate apartment just outside of downtown Bayeux. Clean, quiet & very well appointed. A lovely 2 BR, 1B that was perfect for 2 couples. Geraldine recommended a wonderful restaurant in Port-en-Bessin-Haupain that was devine. She even made a reservation for us. Walk, don't run to this fabulous hidden gem in Bayeux!

This was the best VRBO we ever stayed at. We did not use the laundry. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The apartment could not have been cleaner. Geraldine was a gracious and accommodating host. Furniture and beds very comfortable. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Geraldine was wonderful! As our host, she was so attentive and willing to help make our trip perfect in every way. The location was great for access to Bayeux and central to all of the many historic sites of Normandy. The apartment was very nice with all the amenities one could ask for. Geraldine also provided many suggestions for activities in the area and made checking in and out very convenient! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area!
