Last minute successful girl’s (and fur pups) trip
A girlfriend from high school and I decided pretty last minute to book a getaway equidistant from each other. Fortunately, this property was available and accepted dogs. Everything was exactly as advertised. The house is very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The yard was great for the dogs and we appreciated that it was not on top of other houses or the street. It was a very quiet neighborhood and a short trip to town. As well, we were very close to other areas we wanted to hike/visit. There were recommendations on the board about places others liked, which we appreciated. And we were the lucky ones to get to see the resident white squirrel. The upstairs rooms both have window units and was a bit warm and took some time to cool off. However, it was still rather warm outside, so I don’t see this as being an issue any other time of the year. The heat is on central, so this wouldn’t affect the colder months. While we didn’t cook at the house, it appeared to have what would be needed. The beds were comfortable. And it was great to have a washer and dryer, which we did use during our stay. Would definitely come stay again!

Big Positives, Small Negatives
There's a lot to like about this house. The location, number of rooms, and the amount of space you get for the price we paid (~190) is excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated with working appliances. The beds are clean and comfortable, there are two big tables for everyone to gather around, and the WiFi is excellent with fast speeds and good coverage. I think if I was only using it as a base camp for a lot of hiking and mountain biking, it would be perfect. For our family, though, there were some drawbacks. We have small children and they needed to rest in the evenings. There's plenty of room for them in the house and there are a lot of toys for them to play with, but the televisions didn't work at all for us the entire time we were there. All the Roku TV apps crashed, the DirectTV said the subscription needed to be renewed, and none of our DVDs worked in the DVD player. The porch light also didn't work, so we had to use flashlights when going to and from our cars at night. The dishes and glassware in the cabinets didn't seem all the way clean either, with oily haze and little bits of grime on some of the items, so we had to wash everything before we used it. We found a bag of Doritos with the wine glasses, which is a weird thing to find if the dishes had been cleaned. No showstoppers, though. We made it all work and had a great vacation. Clean the glassware, fix the porch light, and fix the TVs and it would be a five star from us.
