About this property

Cozy Cabin in the heart of Torrey

Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post.

Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

This cabin was even more than advertised. It truly had everything you could want in a place away from home. Very comfortable and upgraded with lots of extra amenities. Wonderful and friendly communication from the owner on everything we needed to make our stay perfect. And it was perfect and we hated to leave!

Nichole's place was great. The small house (cassita) was actually quite spacious inside. The house was very clean, extremely comfortable and well appointed. The location was in the center of Torrey and a short beautiful drive into Capital Reef NP. We would most definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. You could really tell the hosts want to make their guests feel at home. The cabin was like new and had everything we needed, our bed was very comfortable. The host always replied immediately to any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here! It is close to everything.

This is a lovely property and the hosts are extremely gracious! We messed up our booking through VRBO and they were extremely helpful in allowing us to change our booking last minute. The place was gorgeous, clean, and very welcoming. Everything we needed for packing lunches for hiking was provided. The back patio area was cool and delightful. We had coffee in the morning (watching the cows) and a glass of wine in the evening watching the sunset in the mountains. Even though people were staying at the other houses on the property, it felt very private. My partner loved the mattress and woke up without a backache for the first time on our trip. We wished we could have stayed longer!

This cabin is a real find! It seems brand new - like no one has ever been in it before. And Nichole has spared not a single detail from stocked cupboards to unexpected little niceties around every corner. We took adavantage of sitting on the back porch with its lovely view. We found coffee (with sugar and creamer). We felt deeply cared for and fortunate to enjoy time there. Honestly, the best equipped VRBO we've ever stayed in. Better than home! Thank you, Nichole! We hope to be back.
