Only 15 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge to the rental in San Rafael. HOT PRIVATE HOT TUB (not shared), HOT ROCK SAUNA, JACUZZI, PETS OKAY. $60 Pet Fee. Several shopping centers and restaurants are within walking distance.
Abusive hygienic use of the hot tub resulting in a drain, clean and refill; A $75 fee will be charged.
2 person maximum at all times, including guests.
Check-out is at 10 AM and check-in is 3 PM. No early check-in or late check-out. Thanks.
The age limit minimum is 25 for the primary renter.
Attached studio apartment with private entry. Totally separate. There are no carpets, but clean ceramic tile floors with a sky-lite and ceiling fan above the bed. An ELECTRIC FIREPLACE, non-heating with 3 different colored flame choices. Pets allowed $30 fee; ( please pay the pet fee on the VRBO site). Shedding dogs must be keep brushed Uncontrolled barking not allowed as well. If you go out and leave your dog alone please don't leave your dog alone the first night. Please pick up dog poop in the fenced yard. We do have a small fenced-in yard. .
You have your own private entrance. One queen bed. Full bathroom with jetted tub. Your own private hot tub, hot rock sauna, and small patio garden area. Bed linens and towels are provided.
Full kitchen with stove top and oven, double-sided refrigerator, convection microwave oven, utensils, cookware, and more. Barbecue lovers - gas grill is provided. This studio is attached to a primary structure and is totally private and separate, with its own entrance and private patio with outdoor dining area.


Neighborhood restaurants are a few blocks away (a couple just a walking distance).

This unique place is located in the northern part of Marin County, with easy access to Hwy 101 and many places that San Francisco Bay Area has to offer. Our local farmers market is nearby, open every Thursday and Sunday.

Restaurants are within one to 2 blocks away. A block away from a major supermarket.

The home was clean and as advertised. Getting into the house was difficult as the directions weren't clear and it was hard to get ahold of the property manager, but there was a glitch with the phone line. Once that was resolved, he was able to help get us into the property and the rest of the time was great. Clean and cute.

Ideal spot

Was going to an event in San Rafael and didn't want to drive home. This was the perfect spot for the night -- clean, quiet, quaint. Bed is super comfortable and I enjoyed the skylight.

Great little place. quiet and secluded in a family's back yard.

The shower had not been properly cleaned and the hot tub was not pristine, but it was well equipped and when we needed coffee because the Jurick was broken the manager provided it quickly. Overall a B+

A so so experience

Directions were very detailed and well communicated. The vibe I got from driving up in the property was very sketchy. Not a well maintained esthetic property. We did love the two massage chairs that were in the room. The bathrooms toilet and showers were clean. The floors did need to be swept. The counters in the kitchenette could have used a good wipe down before we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub! I guess we were talking jwith raised voices because we did get a pounding on a wall which I believe was ment to be a warning. Granted it was after 10pm I totally understand. Honestly didn’t think it was necessary it was just two people talking. One of the drawbacks for having the owner living at the VRBO property.

San Tafael

The housekeepers must have used gallons of bleach. The smell was overpowering. The keurig was broken- could not use. But it was exceptionally quiet and very easy locstion for finding my way around.

A fairly nice place to stay

Overall I would recommend this place.Highlights included the location and hot tub, while the proximity to the owner was unexpected.The place is very close to several hiking areas, parks etc so for a little vacation with my dog it was perfect. It was also a quick drive to some restaurants and coffee shops so overall, prime location for what I was looking for. I thought the hot tub and massage chair were great as well.The apartment was fairly clean except the bathroom sink and some of the dishes were dirty or splotchy. The check in process was quite odd, but not sure if it’s standard for Vrbo. he had me call him the day before but only explained what he’d already sent me in the message. It was quite a lengthy message but there were some bits of info (like operating the hot tub) that I felt were left out. I don’t prefer for rental owners to have my personal number so the calling ahead wasn’t ideal for me.I will note that this is very much attached to the owners home, like they added an addition/built out an old garage. It is a separate entrance and I didn’t have to interact with the owner at all. But you can definitely hear them coming and going or moving around in their home. Every time they entered their gate it sounded like someone was coming into this place’s yard, which did spook my dog and I a few times. The neighborhood was nice but there are very few streetlights so bring a flashlight if you need to walk a dog in the evening.A nice space for 1-2 people.

Fantastic!

This was a super cute little property tucked away in a residential neighborhood. It took me about 30 mins to get into San Francisco and was extremely easy to find even at 1 am. I love the jacuzzi, I didn't use the sauna. The heater panel was hiding behind the TV in a corner so I didn't see that the first night and was extremely cold. The fireplace is just for show and doesn't emit heat. I also noticed that my neighbors weren't present the first couple of nights I was there. When they returned, there was some arguing and swearing. The walls are paper-thin. I could also hear them moving around, using, water and watching TV. No big deal honestly. But if you're expecting dead silence, this wouldn't be the place for you. The shower water was lukewarm until my neighbors returned and then the shower got a bit warmer. Not entirely sure what happened there. The tub is a jetted tub and the water wouldn't have been warm enough to warrant filling the tub and using the jets. I would have also appreciated a few thicker blankets. But in general, this was an EXCELLENT rental and I'd stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 weeks for a work trip with my 2 dogs. It was a happy, cozy spot for the 3 of us. The internet was fast enough for me to manage zoom calls easily. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials and I was able to cook easily. The neighborhood was really peaceful and the dogs and I had some lovely walks.

Such a beautiful private property, amenities were amazing and such a smooth process for check-in and check-out. The room definitely could’ve been cleaner, especially the kitchen and bathroom, but nothing major. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and anticipate coming back soon!

Great little spot!

This is a cute/romantic little place that sleeps 2 comfortably. We loved the jacuzzi & sauna, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet. Lots of nice plants on the back patio, with a table and bench. Theres a beautiful tree growing over the house in the backyard and you can see through the skylight over the bed.This place was a steal for under 400 for two nights in our opinion. Has its expected flaws like a bathroom fan that badly needs replacing, but at the price we were very happy with the amenities!

Solid, lowkey place
