Great house for family vacation. Less than 5 miles to Main Street, 1 mile to rafting, tubing, and gem mines. 24 miles from Highlands and 32 miles to Cherokee. Very private inside and out. Long range east and west views. Screened porch with TV and gas firepit. Antique pool table and large TV in bonus room. Well equipped, spacious kitchen. All bedrooms have smart TVs. 2 office spaces for those who need to work and play! Pet friendly.

Majestic Mountain Views and Peaceful Tranquility

If your looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and well furnished home to rent while being close to the mountains, then this is the place for you! I am a teacher and my daughter works in the emergency room and is going to school for her nursing degree. We both desperately needed a place to relax and recharge. We got it here! This home was equipped with everything we needed to be able to cook a complete thanksgiving dinner and have enough room for 9 people. My family played many games of pool and truly enjoyed themselves. My 12 year old spent most of his time on the porch with the propane heater and the big screen TV!! It was by far his favorite room in the house! The views from this home are amazing. Every morning I woke up to the most beautiful sunrise! We also got to see 5 deer grazing in the field behind this home. I hope to get back to this area again and hopefully this home will be available!

Amazing place, breathtaking views!

My family and I got to experience a little bit of Christmas magic in this absolutely beautiful home away from home! This Christmas was a tough one for our family as we lost my mother, the matriarch of the family in October, so we just wanted to get away and make some new memories this year to help us get thru. This property was as close to heaven as we could get! The views were breathtaking, for sunrise and sunset! With us being lucky enough to capture glimpses of deer walking in the field. The screened in porch was a favorite by all! All amenities made this feel like we were right at home, the owners responses and special touch to decorate the house for Christmas was very much appreciated putting the final touches on the magic of the place! I highly recommend the property to any group looking for rest and relaxation in a beautiful, peaceful setting.!! Our family is already thinking of other occasions we could come here for! We are so thankful that the owner helped us to have such a great experience!

Joey and Melissa met in college but then went their own ways for 30+ years. We reconnected in 2023 and were married in 2025. We now split time between Franklin and Charlotte which allows us to share our home with you!

Why they chose this property

Joey's grandfather acquired this land when Joey was a young boy because it is adjacent to his great grandfather's land, where his parents live today. Joey built his home in 2008 and has enjoyed the beautiful views and privacy for many years.

What makes this property unique

Our home has AMAZING long range views and is so close to town! You will enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. With a paved driveway, access is much easier than any other property with a view like ours!
