Local Wineries & Wines: Premiere wineries in the region all within a few miles include: BR Cohn, B Wise, Ty Cayton, Chateau St. Jean, Landmark, Ledson, Kaz, Kenwood, Kunde, Imagery, Muscardini Cellars, Mayo, St Francis, VJB and Arrowood. A host of fine restaurants also await ranging from local Tapas to gourmet French and Italian along with fine California cuisine.

Description of Area: Conveniently situated in the heart of Kenwood's 'Winery Row' in close proximity to world-class wineries, fine restaurants, Jack London State Park, Sugarloaf Mountain, Hood Mountain, and Annadel State Park. A wonderful central location for exploring the Valley of the Moon, Sonoma and Napa.
The route, coming into Kenwood as you drive north through Sonoma Valley, the mountains ribbed with hillside vineyards, is in the same league as those through Tuscany and Provence. Experience the much more laid back atmosphere of Sonoma vs Napa valley where it is not uncommon to have the wine makers pouring the wine.

House is cute, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is walkable to several restaurants and wineries using the back roads instead of walking along highway. We would highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay at Mary's lovely home which is located close to many wineries, restaurants and shops! The house is beautiful and comfortable with a back yard we didn't want to leave! Mary made communication and check in easy, answered questions promptly throughout the week and has taken great care making her rental feel like home! The entire home was spotless; the kitchen was well appointed with high end appliances and lots of basic staples (paper towels, sponges, spices, olive oil, etc); the living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a nice view of the backyard; bedrooms have such comfy beds and ample storage space; the bathroom has a large shower with hot water and great pressure and, like in the kitchen, there are many staples (soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.); the backyard has a large deck with 2 sets of furniture and an umbrella, a small vineyard, fruit trees and a fire pit! This is one of the nicest rentals I have had the pleasure of staying on and we didnt want to leave! Don't wait to book this awesome place! Thank you, Mary!

My husband and I got away for the weekend for his birthday. We loved this cottage so much; it’s darling, close enough to walk to coffee in the mornings and an handful of wineries for tastings. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the backyard in the evening. We would definitely stay again!

The backyard was absolute heaven. We made a fire in the firepit one night. I couldn't believe there was a vineyard with actual grapes in the back yard. We also had an apple from the apple tree. The neighborhood was adorable and we had great experiences at the nearby wineries and restaurants. I'd 100% recommend!

Great location, layout and amenities

My mom lives in Kenwood and we needed a place nearby during a family reunion weekend. The house is clean and comfortable, nicely appointed, and the backyard is charming. Kenwood is a great location for wine country access and trips into Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Santa Rosa. There are some great walks in the neighborhood, and restaurant choices. Mary was available to answer a question right away. I'd stay there again.

Kenwood Wine Trip

We enjoyed our stay in Kenwood. The house is very clean and the outside space is amazing! Kenwood has plenty of wineries close by and within a reasonable drive you can get to Sonoma, Armstrong Nature Preserve or the coast.

The house was charming. Single story with a few steps to enter. Great looking, fresh, clean, perfectly sized for our family of four (2 bedrooms) — daughters in their 20s, my husband and me. One bathroom, that was as pretty as it was convenient. Terrific advice from the host. Excellent location. Pretty garden, “vanity vineyard” (a new term I learned) and outdoor dining space. We loved the house!

Great Place for a Couple

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating his 70th birthday at this cute house in the Sonoma valley. The owner, Mary, was excellent in returning phone calls and a request to delay our start by one day. And the back yard is a wonderful place to unwind and have some lovely wine at the end of the day.
