Perfect West Beach Location! Two-Level 1BR-#3
Completely renovated in 2008 and newly furnished, this unique two-level unit is part of an historic triplex in the desirable West Beach area. Your doorway is just 1-1/2-blocks from West Beach near Stearn’s Wharf, and easy walking distance to downtown State St. shops and Funk Zone restaurants. 
NOTE: There is a steep staircase leading from the first to the second floor. May not work for those guests with mobility issues.

The main-floor Living Room has a top-quality queen pull-out sofabed by AU for additional quests, and a 32` flat-screen HD-TV with HD-DirecTV and Roku-streaming. The small galley kitchen has a fridge and stove/oven with granite counters, and is outfitted with microwave, coffee-maker, NutriBullet blender, toaster and cookware/dishware.
French-doors off the living area lead to a spacious, private outdoor deck area beside Mission Creek with patio table/chairs. Lots of birdlife.
Upstairs the sunny bedroom has a plush-top queen-size bed with down duvet & pillows, top-quality large dresser, desk and vanity. Adjoining white- tiled bathroom is outfitted with whirlpool tub and shower. Exotic walnut floors extend throughout. NOTE: The staircase between floors is quite steep; please be advised if mobility is an issue.
Essentially its own separate structure, this 2-story `tower` has ground-level entry.
We live locally within a mile and also tend to the rooftop gardens on a regular basis, so are always available.
Secure, private exterior closed porch for storage of surfboards or bikes.
Creekside shared Laundry Room; door is locked and all guests have key.
Chapala Rooftop Gardens Patio is available for your day use. NOTE: Guests are expected to leave the patio as found, including placing chairs around tables, washing any used dishes, cleaning the BBQ grill and removing trash.
Use of the Rooftop garden/patio by agreement.

We are recent residents of Santa Barbara, having recently moved from the Sacramento area and Canada before that. We had occupied the front main unit of this beautiful tri-plex by the beach until late-2013, and we oversee the property ourselves, including a unique rooftop aeroponic garden. Health-conscious and fitness oriented, our family enjoys beach volleyball, bicycling and running right here in West Beach with its nearby amenities.
Why they chose this property
West Beach is THE place to stay in SB for both beach and downtown access. Very few properties become available here. And with the City onslaught on Short-Term Rentals, ours is one of FEW authorized, legitimately permitted Vacation Rental units in SB !!
What makes this property unique
The historic building and charming unit are unique in SB. The privacy offered by the backyard enclosed patio by Mission Creek is special. The rooftop Tower Garden and patio are open to guests for lounging, meals, etc.
