About this property
Lakefront Home with Breathtaking Panoramic Views
Our beautiful lakefront home, surrounded by water on three sides, sits on a point overlooking the main channel of the lake, as well as a cove to one side. It is a 2500 square-foot, two-story home with three bedrooms on the lower level, and the master suite on the upper level with the kitchen and living room. Both the upper and lower levels are surrounded by decks on three sides, all overlooking the water. Two of the lower level bedrooms have exterior doors leading to the lower deck, and gorgeous lake views through a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. The master suite also has an exterior door that leads to the upper deck, as well as a magnificent view of the lake through a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen and living room are surrounded by walls of floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, providing for beautiful, panoramic views of the lake from any point in the room. The upstairs rooms have vaulted ceilings with skylights and ceiling fans. Two of the downstairs bedrooms have a TV with a DVD player for watching movies, along with a selection of movies for adults and children.
The house has a dock with a covered boat slip for renters to use. There are numerous chairs on both the upper and lower house decks available for outdoor lounging, and a porch swing on the lower deck.
We have parking for cars in the driveway (no garage parking available). There is a boat ramp near the end of our road with areas nearby for trailer parking.
Our part of the lake is ideal for water sports including wake-boarding, wake-surfing, water-skiing, tubing, etc, as well as fishing. You will need to provide your own equipment AND your own fishing license (required). There is a neighborhood boat ramp just up the road from the house. There are a few restaurants and bars nearby, accessible by boat. We have provided a notebook (that is to remain in the house) that includes a map and information on several restaurants, boat/PWC/equipment rental companies, and gas stations and stores in the area. NOTE: slide on side of house is inoperable and not available for guest use. Slide has locked cover and is not to be tampered with.

My family had an excellent week long stay and we would definitely recommend this property. Our kids had a great time swimming and fishing. Wish we had stayed here on our previous trips to the lake.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope you will remember us for future vacations.
Stayed will my family the week of July fourth. Hosts were great and the house was well organized. Lake views from wall of windows overlooking point are absolutely spectacular!
Our family had a great stay. The view was beautiful, and we made extensive use of the dock for swimming, sunning, and fishing. The hosts were easily the nicest, most accommodating, and most communicative that we have ever had. This was a trip to remember!

Our family had the best time on the lake. Dock fishing, fireworks on the lake, covered slip for our boat, comfortable spacious home for 5 adults and one 4 yr old. Would go back in a minute!

From the second we were put in touch, the owners were amazing! They were so helpful with all questions we had. The house was gorgeous! We were so excited to bring our children and spouses back to the lake we spent our childhood at. It was truly a trip back to our past and just wonderful to return after 30 years and be able to give our families an experience we’ve always cherished.

Great place to unplug
Beautiful views, and very comfortable furnishings. Kitchen was very well-stocked and our group had fun cooking there. Not much cell service, but that was AWESOME. Everyone put down their devices and played games, fished off the dock, took naps, etc. We rented a boat for the week, and pretty much had the lake to ourselves. Highly recommend Pirates Point, and if you bring kids- get a lily pad for the lake!

We are so glad your group enjoyed your stay at our lake house! We hope you will consider us again if vacationing at Lake of the Ozarks.
This home is exceptional and wonderfully well-appointed. It was perfect to reconnect with family and enjoy lake activities together! I love that there’s a main floor master and all the kids beds are on lower level, it let us take breaks when we needed them. Only downside is it’s about an hour away from Osage Beach so plan ahead for any activities “in town” if that’s important to you. Homeowner was super helpful and responsive and we had a marvelous time! This is a very serene and beautiful part of the lake and great for those not looking for a Party Cove type experience.

Stacy we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for being a great guest! We hope to have you back again.
We really enjoyed our stay, the house has awesome windows with great views. Kitchen was well stocked with a large island. The lake was beautiful, we swam and fished off the dock. The only thing I can say is to get to the downstairs bedrooms, you have a tight spiral staircase, not ideal for small children or older adults. The lake was quiet not alot of boat traffic. They had a nice selection of movies for both kids and adults. Very nice property.
The owners are very nice and approachable. Overall great stay.
The space and amenities and location were perfect! This is a
'get away' spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the commercial side of the lake - while still being in a neighborhood setting. There was plenty to occupy the children, the adults and the elders. Military flights thrilled us all; the eagle family, herons, double crested cormorants and hummingbirds kept a bird lover gazing; jumping fish along the drop kept the angler hopeful; swimming and boating was a favorite of all - and the low water traffic made it easy to enjoy; and a great selection of child/adult movies helped wind down the days.

Trisha we are so glad you enjoyed your vacation! We always love it when our guests enjoy our home and surroundings as much as we do.
Property is just as described and even better. It is lovely with quality amenities. The beds were comfortable and the views are next to none! We drank coffee every morning, looking out over the water and watching the wildlife. Turtles, great blue herons, squirrels and fish jumping all day long. There is limited Wi-Fi, but that just made the visit all the better. Rhonda was so responsive and helpful. The area was so quiet, at times we were the only ones on the water. If you are looking to unplug with your friends or family, this is the place! Would stay again if we head to the Ozarks for another vacation.

Secluded Beauty
We had the most delightful stay at this beautiful home. The dock and home were clean, well taken care of, and the views are second to none. On our rainy day, we enjoyed watching the provided movies or sitting on one of the decks reading a book to the sound of the rain. The home is well equipped and well represented in the description. We have AT&T service, and we were able to make and receive calls from most spots IN the home. The boys enjoyed fishing and the girls enjoyed reading books on the sun deck. The owners were amazing to work with and communicated with us promptly during and after our stay. If you are looking for a gorgeous setting to get away from it all with your family, it is without hesitation that I recommend this property with these owners.

This lakefront home had more than enough room for our group of six (mom, dad, and older kids). The property is on the water with multiple spots to enjoy the lake (boat dock with seating and platform for jumping in the water; concrete pad; and smaller swim dock). We enjoyed swimming, floating, and fishing. Kayaks were conveniently placed for our use. We brought our own floaties/fishing gear, but there are a handful of those items there for guest use. The guys caught catfish and bluegill (?). The fish were really active and showing off jumping out of the water! This property is OFF the beaten path. Not a problem, as we enjoy a slower paced vacation. If you're looking for a rowdy spot - this isn't it. There is WiFi, and it worked just fine for all of us. Cell signal was pretty spotty, but we didn't really need it!The kitchen is huge with everything you need to make delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just make sure you have everything you need - as it is a good 30-40 minutes from the nearest store. There is an extra fridge for storing drinks, etc. and a gas grill. The king suite was very comfortable with a huge bathroom and walk in closet. All the kids said their beds were comfy and night time is very quiet. The thing that makes the house unique is the view. It is truly breathtaking, with 180-degree-plus visual of the lake. I could sit in that living room and just look at the water all day! Rhonda was super accommodating with anything we needed. Thanks for everything!

Awesome Family Vacation!
This was one of our favorite destinations so far! We have 3 boys, ages 6, 14, 16 - and they did not want to leave. The location is very secluded, quiet and peaceful. On our drive in, we saw several deer and even a fox. The house was very clean, spacious and filled with all the amenities we needed. There is no grassy area where the kids could run around, so we spent most of our time on the deck and the pier. Other than 2 bar restaurants (great popcorn at Fatties!), there is nothing around the area - so we purchased groceries to last us the entire week. We rented a boat from Pirates Point for 4 days and it worked out great. For the most part, we swam off the pier (it's deep so if you have little ones, bring life jackets - and noodles for the adults), fished and went tubing and skiing (I think we had the lake to ourselves during the week). I enjoyed relaxing and reading on the deck - the view in the morning is glorious. Ha Ha Tonka park is great to explore on a cooler day - there are over 300 stairs to climb to the castle. If you travel by boat, there is great swimming area where the cool water of the natural springs flows into the lake. On our way out, we went to Bridal Cave - which was fascinating. Make sure you take the time to look at the wedding photos. We would go back again - and plan to recommend this rental to our family and friends. Awesome rental!

Lucy,
Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. We are so glad that you and your family enjoyed your vacation! We appreciate the feedback, as it helps us to make changes and updates based on your experience renting from us.
You made a suggestion to future renters to bring life jackets and noodle floats... I think we will look into providing those items ourselves in the future. At one time we did have a few of the noodles, but those have disappeared over time. We did leave 3 big floats on the dock... I hope you found those to use.
We appreciate you taking good care of our home while you were there and hope that you will stay with us again if you vacation at Lake of the Ozarks in the future!
Great Lake house with amazing views! It had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub and kayaks. We brought our 25ft boat and had no trouble using the dock and slip next door. We used the neighborhood ramp next to Fatties to launch and it worked fine. The lake was very quiet during the week and we felt like we had it to ourselves, which we loved. We got gas and ice at Rebel Harbor Marina which is just across from the cove. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the neighbors! Great Lake house for a relaxing family vacation!

Great quiet lake house!
Overall the house was perfect for our trip. the home looked as great as the pictures indicated. the layout was perfect for a mix of kids and adults. the kids had there space downstairs and the adults had the kitchen and entertaining room upstairs. we brought two moderately sized boats (28' long) and Rhonda was kind enough to move boats around and give us two slips to use for the trip. the boat ramp was a bit tight for boats our size but we were able to find a public ramp very close at MM 62. i would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice quiet spot on the lake away from the rough waters in the main channel. Thanks again Rhonda.

We booked this house to provide accommodations for our friends who were attending our lake wedding. The owner worked with me on dates and our guests loved staying at this gorgeous house. Michigan Ozark Lovers
We grew up in the KC area, moving to Michigan 30 years ago but still try to get back annually. We have always loved Lake of the Ozarks, finding Rhonda's lake house in 2013 and coming back again 2014. The house is wonderful, offering beautiful views from a spacious family room and wrap around deck. The entire family has really enjoyed this house, Rhonda has been great to work with and we can't wait to come back again...

The House sits on a point with a view that is spectacular. There's a wonderful deck across the back with comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the evening breeze and watch the sunset. The house is well equipped with all cooking and cleaning needs and perfect for entertaining with a large dining table set in a glass enclosed alcove. Fishing supplies are available for use as well as other water equipment. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds. And Rhonda was a real pleasure to work with and went out of her way to make sure things were taken care of before our arrival which made our stay that much more pleasurable. Thanks Rhonda.

Awesome Home for "Family Vacation"
Our family has visited the Lake of the Ozark area almost every summer since the kids have been very young. As our children grew from youngsters to now adults, they always looked forward to the week of "Family Vacation". Now as their families are growing, it has taken us to a higher level of needing more space. The Lakefront Home in Edwards, Missouri was Awesome. I have to admit I was a little hesitant, without knowing where we were heading and trusting that the information given was legitimate. Well, NO WORRIES, it was all it was described to be and even more. My husband, kids, grandkids and myself were a little nervous getting to the final destination on a gravel path but the home on the water with a fabulous dock area was outstanding. We took two ski boats, two wave runners and three kayaks. There was room for them all. The dock was equipped with a paddle boat which was also another means of entertainment. The docking station for the two wave runners was unbelievably convenient, so slick and easy to use. The calm cove was exceptional to be able to just float, swim and fish from with the comforts of the home right there. We usually would leave our area to find a calm cove to spend the day at in previous years. Here we did not need to leave. It was fabulous. The owners thought of it all when they built, including putting in the hot tub which was an evening entertainment spot and the infamous "jump" ladder that was like the high diving board for those who dared, which of course once they tried, they were hooked to go again. The huge wrap around deck on two levels with the windows that gave a brilliant view were an additional feature that gave the home a total feeling of openness. The large kitchen table was great for our big family meals in a kitchen supplied with every item one would need to cook. Our family is big on enjoying the outdoors and cooking at our location instead of "going out to eat". The very helpful owners did inform us ahead of time that it would be a distance into the town-Lake of the Ozarks, just under an hour, for food, groceries or entertainment. We were prepared for that, as we made our grocery stop before getting to our destination. As far as entertainment - we had it all - right here at this wonderful home with a great location. We would recommend to anyone to give it a try - you will not regret it staying at this Lakefront Home that we made our Home for our week of "Family Vacation"!

Great time in the Ozarks!
We just got home from a fantastic week at the lake. This was voted by my family to be in the top two of our very best vacations. What put it at the top was the lovely home that we were privileged to enjoy. The property was just as beautiful as described on line and the home provided so many things that many others don't, such as nice bedding, a well supplied kitchen, a huge stack of beach towels (that I was grateful to not have to add to our very full car), an empty boat slip, extra buoys to protect our jet skis and floats to play on in the water. We felt like we had the cove completely to ourselves and found great places to tube and wake board close to the house. We fished off of the docks and everyone caught at least one fish. Our group consisted of our family of five and two significant others,16 years and older. Sleeping arrangements worked out well and there was plenty of space for all of us. We all put crazy busy lives away for the week and I even tried wake boarding. (I have the bruises to prove it). :) We would definitely recommend this lovely vacation retreat!!

Wonderful Vacation Stay for Large Family
We loved staying at this home in June. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we needed to cook and do our laundry. The pictures are completely accurate. We brought a boat and it was great spending time on the lake and having a dock close to the house. Nice skiing in the coves, tubing, and boating. We have five children and there was plenty of sleeping accomodations and room to sprawl. The younger kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and paddle boating. We enjoyed playing games, watching movies, and made a trip to Osage Beach and the Bridal Cave in Camdenton. Haha Tonka State Park was close to the Bridal Cave and would be a great park to explore more. The castle ruins at the park were interesting. Beautiful area, plenty to do. We would also recommend stopping for groceries before you come in and being completely stocked unless you enjoy driving a ways to get what you need. We like the quieter areas of the lake and this is one of them. There were places to eat on the lake, but we didn't try them out. Probably our best lake vacation to date. Our thanks to the owners!
About the host
Hosted by Rhonda
House built by owner. Owner managed. Our family spends a lot of time at this house throughout the year. This is our second home. We have other family members with houses in the same cove and on the same road, and several friends with houses in the area as well.
Why they chose this property
Our property is located on a part of the lake where the water is usually pretty calm and the area is not typically crowded. My husband's family has had a house here in this cove for about 40 years. There are now 4 family houses in the neighborhood, as well as 2 other houses owned by our close friends who loved visiting us so much that they now have their own houses here. Our family has a tradition of meeting here at the lake every summer for a family vacation together. This is something we look forward to every year.
What makes this property unique
We absolutely love the views from our home. And we love this calm, quiet part of the lake. It is such a peaceful atmosphere to us that we feel so relaxed when we're there, and so rejuvenated when we leave.
