Island View is a charming three bedroom estate situated on three tropical landscaped lots that overlook the Atlantic Ocean and provide you with your own private paradise. Boasting expansive ocean views, and a heated oceanfront pool and tiki bar, you may never want to leave! Whether you lay in a hammock, enjoy frozen drinks from the tiki hut, watch the sunrises & sunsets over the water from your wraparound porch, or just relax by the pool, this ocean side retreat provides everything you need to enjoy a little slice of heaven in the Florida Keys. Take a swim in the ocean, or fish off the dock. Great for kayaking & boating too! (Photos are post Irma)

This home was absolutely amazing and the perfect kind of lace we were looking for to soak up all the sunshine and warmth of the lower keys. It was only 35 min or so from Key West which made multiple trips out there possible. We were able to visit the Hemingway House, snorkel at the reef, parasail, kayak, and of course float in the pool.

We had a wonderful stay at Island View in Ramrod Key. The home was extremely comfortable, beautifully maintained, and very well appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor living space was one of our favorite parts — the private pool, tiki bar, and ocean breezes made it feel like a true island escape. And our view of the water simply could not be beat!Check in and out was super easy. The property owner was fantastic to work with and communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. That level of care and attention really stood out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Island View to anyone looking for a relaxing Keys getaway.

Our host was awesome and followed up on our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. The amenities were amazing with the beautiful view, swimming pool, and dock. The house had everything we could possibly need and was the best equipped of any of my VRBO stays.

We loved everything about our stay at Island View. Incredible views in every direction, huge private lot(s), well-heated pool in winter, dock for fishing, great kayaking around the mangroves. Communication with Kelly was excellent. While we spent most our time enjoying the outside, the interior of the home is in great condition and had everything we needed. We’ve already booked it again for next year.

Wonderful Location

Awesome property in a fantastic location on Ramrod Key. Great house, pool, tiki bar and boating access to the Lower Keys. Hosts were gracious and extremely responsive. Well cared for property. Love this place and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Expectations exceeded!

The home is bright and airy and decorated wonderfully. Very clean and well stocked. The pool and tiki bar were the icing on the cake. We couldn't have been happier and will definitely re-book. Made for a wonderful vacation.

Amazing Stay!

It is impossible to state how much we enjoyed our stay! The house looked exactly as pictured but you cannot describe how lovely the property is! The pool was fantastic, the beds comfortable and the living areas comfortable and up to date! Kelly was a fantastic host - always willing to respond to a question and gave some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do! Everything about this property is wonderful. We had everything we needed - and so much more! We enjoyed it all, from the well-appointed house to the pool, the tiki hut, and the hammock. Best view in the Keys

We had a great week at Island View. The house was well appointed and had a very well stocked kitchen. Pool was fantastic. Dock was safe. We were there through Hurricane Helene and the owners were very helpful and supportive. The house was so strong you couldn't even feel the wind.We felt very safe the whole time. Would love to come back another time!

We hope you enjoy your stay at Island View on Ramrod Key. We immediately fell in love with this property the first time we saw it in the early 1980's and finally got the opportunity to purchase it in 2000. We bought this home for the spectacular ocean views and the privacy and space of the three lots which give a resort feel to the property and we are happy to share it with you, our family and friends.

What makes this property unique

There are many things to enjoy in this area during your stay. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy fishing, diving, boating or water sports, the lower keys have something to offer to everyone. Key West is nearby for shopping or site seeing and although we have tried to equip our kitchen with whatever you may need during your stay, we do have some wonderful restaurants nearby as well.
Whether you are looking to experience all that the lower keys have to offer, or just have a vacation away from it all enjoying our views from inside the house, in the pool or having a beverage of your choice around the tiki bar, we hope you enjoy your stay at Island View, and we truly hope you will come back and visit us again.
