Scott Creek Lodge: 7-BR, 10-bed, 7.5-BA vacation home with fire pit, hot tub (always open), rec room, screened porch & huge deck located in SW Michigan. It sleeps 16 max guests & includes access to our private dock with small beach & canoe less than a mile from the house. The home enjoys private, wooded acreage with a stream winding through it. A perfect place to relax with friends & family near lots of outdoor recreation like hiking, biking, kayaking & more!

The Space:

Inside, you will find the main floor outfitted with a well-appointed kitchen complete with an island, a spacious dining room, a comfortably-appointed living room with large screen TV, along with three queen bedrooms that come complete with their own en suite bathrooms. Sit on the glass-enclosed front porch, inside the screened porch, or out on the roomy deck to enjoy the sun and fresh breezes and watch the critters scamper through the woods out in the backyard.
Upstairs, you will find three queen bedrooms each with its own en suite full bathroom, as well as one kids' bedroom with 4 twin beds and its own full en suite bathroom complete with tub/shower combo, as well as a stackable washer/dryer unit.
Down in the basement rec room, enjoy spending time playing pool, air hockey, and foosball, or step outside onto the back patio and slip into the large 8-person hot tub (open all year) for a little relaxation. The basement also features a half bathroom with a separate shower, as well as a full-sized refrigerator and extra sink. You can also catch the latest big game on the 65-inch TV set.

You will need a car to take in all the sights that southwest Michigan has to offer. There is sufficient parking by the house for 6-8 large vehicles max.
We do not allow any RV/camper parking. You may not park on any lawn or yard areas, or on the street.
Access to our private beach and dock with our canoe is located less than a mile from the house.
Guests will have full access to the entire home, deck, yard, driveway & parking areas, private beach, and private dock with our canoe. Our hot tub is always open, even in the winter.
Respect Our Neighbors: Use Only Our Yard, Beach, Dock, Driveway, & Parking Areas.
Use of our canoe is free with the home. We also offer reasonably-priced kayak rental, by the day ($25/day) or week; reservation & pre-payment are required; a $100 minimum rental applies.
Local boat rental options may be available--just ask for details. The public boat launch is just down the street from your private beach and dock.
Note: The Dock, Watercraft, Grill & Outdoor Furniture Are Not Available Oct 25-Apr 15. Our Hot Tub is Always Available, Even in Winter.

The Neighborhood:
This extensively remodeled Lee Township vacation rental home is close to a scenic shoreline on Upper Scott Lake where you can easily enjoy fishing or paddling in kayaks or canoes. You can also bring motorized boats for all kinds of water-based recreation. Other fun activities in the area include golfing, hiking, and shopping for lovely art or antiques at some of the many local shops. There is also a wonderful food scene waiting to be explored in nearby South Haven or Saugatuck, along with fun local festivals and events such as the Fenn Valley Wine Festival at Fenn Valley Vineyards. Take advantage of the local agricultural bounty on offer during the spring, summer, and fall, whether you pick it yourself, or just peruse the local farm stands or farmer's markets. Be sure to take some time to explore one or two of the beautiful Lake Michigan coastal beaches, or perhaps schedule a tasting tour of a few of the best wineries southwest Michigan has to offer.
Getting Around:
You will definitely need a car to see all that the area has to offer, though the nearby Allegan State Game Area does have excellent trails for hiking or mountain biking.

Cellular pocket Wi-Fi is provided by AT&T, the best area internet service provider. They only offer limited speeds so more than a few connected devices at a time will cause lag. We provide satellite TV since video streaming is not an option.
Parties: Loud Parties With Excessive Alcohol Or Drug Consumption Are Not Allowed. All Drinking Games Are Strictly Prohibited. We Ask that Nothing Be Stuck To The Walls Since This Will Damage The Paint. Tinsel, Glitter, Confetti, Feathers, Etc., Are Not Welcomed Since They Leave A Mess That Is Extremely Difficult & Time-Consuming for Our Small Staff to Clean Up. Note: If You Do Have A Wild Party, We Will Contact The Police & Have You Removed From Our Property.
