The main level at Windfall offers an updated, well appointed kitchen with granite countertops and all new appliances.
The dining table seats 6 with walk out to a private deck overlooking the Ottauquechee river.
There's a half bath on this main level and an additional sleeping option of the pull out queen sofa bed.
Windfall's lower level offers 2 quiet bedrooms and an updated full bathroom with tub and shower.
The spacious main bedroom has an artisan crafted king bed and walk out access to the back lawn.
The second bedroom has two comfy twin beds

Our family had a lovely time staying at Kat’s condo. It is warm and welcoming, as is she! She texted and messaged in advance to make sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check in. The condo is clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. We greatly appreciated all of the special touches, including the giant Jenga!

This is a 5 star condo rental that has everything you could need for a 3-4 day stay, or even longer. Its a very modern cozy condo. The location is perfect, as you can easily take safe walks around the area right out the front door. Quiet location even though Main St. Is right down the road. Will return here many more times!

I chose Windfall as our home-away-from-home while a friend and I attended a nearly week-long King Arthur Flour Baking class in Norwich. It was the PERFECT spot! The home was cozy, comfortable and well equipped with practically everything you could think of. It's location is central to so many things, including, of course, King Arthur. Our typical day consisted of having coffee/tea on the balcony, going to class, exploring one of many wonderful restaurants within a half-hour drive, then coming back for a snack of bread and wine! Kat is a top-notch host. She was VERY patient and accommodating with me as I needed to change dates. Great communication. Thinking of taking another class and if I do, I'm definitely staying at Windfall again!

Having stayed at many VRBO-type properties I can honestly say this might be the cleanest one we’ve ever had. That, plus being nicely furnished/decorated with quality touches, made it one of our best stays. Kitchen is a bit tight but has everything. Many touches you just don’t see often and in a complete package. Hard to touch on everything but you have to experience it yourself. We would happily go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nicely located in a great area. Close to Hanover and Woodstock. The condo was perfectly outfitted with all you could need. Obvious that the owner takes great care and thinks through any needs a visitor could have. Also very available for questions. Two nearby businesses were a great discovery. Chef Brad’s Crazy Side is a unique and wonderful take out place. Really gourmet meals at a very fair price. Jake’s Quechee Market has a great selection of stuff. Upscale but reasonably priced. We’d definitely book another stay.

Lovely Base for Visiting the Area

This condo was comfortable and very nicely furnished and well equipped. You could tell that this was used by the owner, not just a money-making rental. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything you would need for a vacation. The bed was comfortable and we especially liked the two recliners in the living room, one for each of us to relax and read in. The only caveat I have (and it is a small one, that we were well aware of before we came) is that a road runs along the back of the property and you can hear (but not see) the cars when you sit out on the deck. There is no noise in the house though, and we were only on the deck for a short time each evening having our wine and cheese. The owner was very responsive to our questions . We would definitely stay there again.

They say location is everything!

You will certainly find that true of Windfall at Gray Barns, an absolute gem located in Quechee, VT. Kat was the ultimate host in every way. Prior to our stay, Kat touched base with me to provide clear driving directions once we arrived in Quechee, which took us directly to Windfall’s door. Once we arrived, we gained entrance easily and were pleasantly surprised by such a warm and welcoming home away from home. Every detail was meticulously considered, from a fully stocked kitchen, cushy decorative pillows and throws to curl up in front of the fireplace, two well appointed bedrooms and luxurious spa bathrobes, resulting in a rich experience for all who visit. A lot of love went into creating this peaceful, private retreat which was quite apparent with photographs of Quechee and the surrounding area, pottery created by Kat’s daughter along with Kat’s husband who handcrafted a gorgeous headboard.. What a special place with which we created memorable moments with our VT and NH family!

My sister and i went to classes at the King Arthur Baking School. Windfall was a great place to stay. The condo was convenient to drive to the school. it was a nice place to relax after a day of baking or sightseeing. it was great to have the washer and dryer. the house was well stocked.
