This is a quiet cabin with a lovely lake view. We stayed from Thursday through Sunday and never left. The porch was comfortable (we brought our own chairs) and the bugs outside weren't bad... maybe it was because of all the spiders and spider webs surrounding the house. We would have liked to have enjoyed the water more but the walk down was treacherous... slippery stone steps without a hand rail, and the dock was nice but there seemed to be no safe way to put the kayaks into the water. Appreciate being able to bring the dog, she really enjoyed the porch also! Its a nice place, quiet and relaxing.

The inside of this cabin was clean and everything was provided for our stay. The outside of the cabin was full of spider webs and spiders everywhere. The outside of this cabin needs a total wash down. Trying to get down to the lake from the cabin is very dangerous for seniors. Part of the steps have no railings. The small dock on the lake could use a few chairs for people to sit in and enjoy the water.
Communications with the host were excellent. The cabin’s amenities were outstanding and thoughtfully organized. The views from the lake dock were absolutely gorgeous.
The cabin was clean inside except for one toilet. The porch and outside was covered in spiders and a tremendous webs. The property has been very neglected to the point we will not book again. The view was nice but needs immediate TLC on the property grounds due to overgrown brush. There was no outdoor space without battling the bushes and prickle bushes. The walkway to the lake was treacherous due to rocks with algae to make the walk down with lack of handles and drop offs on both sides and no lighting. I believe this is a hazardous condition. I was unable to walk up without crawling; therefore, could not enjoy the water. There were canoes that obviously not been used assuming because they were overgrown with brush. The parking area was shared and hardly any space. When asking the host about firewood he said it wasn’t provided and to visit a store (I assumed since this was advertised the host would supply for the guests. It was our first trip to Ellijah and we will not be returning. The host answered questions such as viewing tv programs and rudely suggested us to use our own account. We were misled and left a day early.
Very relaxing. Enjoyed shopping in Ellijay and going to the drive-in theater in Blue Ridge. The food and the service at Cantaberry is always top-notch!
The cabin was perfect! It was very clean and the walk in closet was a plus. It was in prime location to get to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay. We enjoyed our stay so much!
