Sunny Mission Beach house, steps to Ocean & Bay!

Summary:

Bring the whole family to this oversized, comfortable & cheery 2-bedroom home! You're just steps to the ocean and Mission Bay, with miles of boardwalk for walking, biking, or scooting right out of your front door. Enjoy wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurants - all within walking distance. Mission Beach is an excellent location for ocean sports, family-friendly activities and fun on the sandy shores of the beach or bay.



The Space:

The home has three levels with an attached garage (please bring a small to medium-sized vehicle, as the garage is a bit lower height than a standard garage (Dimensions: 74" from garage floor to the top of the garage door when it's rolled up, length of the garage is about 16.5 feet). The lower level has a single bedroom with its own full bathroom. Middle level has open kitchen, dining area, living room, half-bath, and balcony. Upper level is a huge loft master bedroom and beautiful full bathroom with walk-in shower and a small balcony. Beach gear and a washer/dryer included!

California King in 2nd bedroom.

Huge, leather reclining coach with floor room for a queen air mattress (provided).



Guest Access:

Check-in is all contactless. You will be given a door code 3 days prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Mission Beach is an amazing coastal community designed around "courts" with all of the residences facing one another across a sidewalk. That design creates a cozy and homey feel (and also limits the amount of car traffic) making Mission Beach the ideal spot to "live at the beach".



Enjoy several miles of long, flat boardwalks for riding bikes or skateboards or just going on a stroll at sunset. Restaurants, bars and amusement parks are all within walking distance. And of course, the beach on one side to surf or the bay on the other for more casual water play (unless you decide to kayak, stand-up paddle board or sail...all rental options are just minutes away).



Getting Around:

Rental bikes and scooters are plentiful for rent by the hour/day/week. The Boardwalk and Bayside Walk are wonderful ways to travel throughout the beach and bay. The 2-car garage guarantees that you will always have parking should you venture out into greater San Diego (the garage is a bit lower height than a standard garage: Dimensions: 74" from garage floor to the top of the garage door when it's rolled up, length of the garage is about 16.5 feet).. We've also partnered with a local company, PB Golf Cart Rentals, that offers daily rentals in a customized Golf Cart. Other Things to Note:

This property is dog friendly. A $150 pet fee applies per stay.



Beach Equipment: despite the inclusion of snorkeling gear, we do not offer it at our rentals



For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.



Interaction with Guests:

Check-in is virtual, as you'll be provided with a digital Guest Portal and a personalized door code. Vacation Rentals by Aaron is a full-service property management company, and will be available 24-7 in case you need anything during your stay.
