The A frame was a great place to stay while participating in Ironman Wisconsin. Daniel was a great host and he was able to provide a clean and comfortable rental for us to enjoy.

This is a great home centrally located to all of the highlights Madison has to offer! Space enough for everyone and each room has its own bathroom! The beds were comfy and the smart home amenities were state of the art! You won’t be disappointed staying here. A short walk to the beach was a plus as there are lots of activities on the lakes in winter as well as summer months. Great stay with a great host!

Cool and unique home in beautiful neighborhood. Cozy bedrooms, beds and bedding very comfortable. Loved hanging out in living & dining areas. Everything needed to cook a dinner & brunch was there. Host super helpful! We were teens thru age 89 with 2 dogs and everyone enjoyed the stay.

Stayed for a week in mid August for UW grad move in and family get together. Home was great, Location is very peaceful while still less than 15 minutes to anywhere in town even with event traffic and road construction. Most trips to downtown and campus were closer to 10 minutes, with the brunt of that to find downtown parking.Home is as described. Plenty of parking and very roomy and charming. The place went above and beyond as far as well stocked in kitchen. The area is so peaceful, lots of wildlife, a short walk to lake Monona, a nice park and a great local drafthouse. The check in was easy. This trip didn't require ANY host communication during visit, all prior and post was responsive, thorough and great.A couple of property details for awareness, not issues with description just these might be missed. The 4th loft bed is accessible as described via a ladder, we didn't need it but could see where could be challenge for older folks if really needed that bed. The younger members of party climbed up said was very nice but warm compared to rooms below. We did not have access to laundry, which again not in description, but one of our party assumed and packed light for the long stay. We had to wash new linens for the move in anyway and 5 minutes from a laundry so that worked out. Finally, the place is dog friendly, I fell in love with with some dog dad coffee cups. However, the yard is not fenced in so be aware. If fits your needs would highly recommend!

Simply awesome

The house was super cool, very clean, and the owner even let us use their charcoal for the grill. Very responsive as well. Very helpful instructions on how to use the smart home setup.

This house is Great!

This house was wonderful! There were 6 of us traveling for a Wisconsin Swim Meet and Football Game. The location is great for getting to and from the University. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with. We especially appreciated him checking in on us before we arrived and while we were there. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again in the future!

Wow, wow, DOUBLE wow. Everything about our two-day stay in Madison was fantastic. Daniel is an incredible host and his home is lovely. The perfect home and location. Close to downtown. Camp Randall and the UW Campus. Easy access to everything Madison has to offer. Please do not hesitate to book this amazing property. It's perfect in every way.

Incredible oasis in Madison

What else is there to say but WOW! This place is amazing, top to bottom. We decided to rent a cabin for the Wisconsin v. OSU game and I’m so glad we did. The house itself was gorgeous, well designed, and incredibly decorated. It was an awesome base for us to relax at and retreat to after game day crowds. It was very easy to get to our tailgate, just a short 15 minute Uber away. Being so close to Lake Monona was a treat as well. The host provided everything we needed plus some. I could not recommend staying here more!

A plus for the A Frame!

We absolutely loved our stay in the A Frame. We were there for a horse show at the fair grounds. It had all the space we needed, the beds were good, bathrooms new and sparkling clean. The living room had super comfy chairs and television and Wifi worked without issues. The area was quiet, Off Broadway restaurant around the corner as well as Walmart and other shopping over the road. There is a bike path that goes around Lake Monoma at the bottom of the hill. The entire home was perfect for us, living on three levels, master downstairs, two in the middle, all with separate bathrooms, and a loft bedroom. We looked forward to coming back to the home at the end of the day. The kitchen was fully loaded with any cooking requirements and the bar area was perfect. You cannot miss staying at this property. It had everything and more you could need. The owners were super responsive and very helpful.

Great house in the heart of Madison

My wife and adult kids stayed at the property for a competition my youngest son was an athlete in and it was perfect. The house is clean and super modern on the inside and the owner has made it a smart home. Down to the TV turning on with your voice. We had fun telling google to "let there be light!" . The home is super convenient because it's just off the highway that leads you to downtown Madison. You could get to the capital in under 10 minutes. There is also a really great neighborhood tavern called "Off Broadway" and it's an easy walk from the house so you can have a couple of cocktails and not worry about driving. The food and atmosphere was awesome. If you need a larger home that is central to Madison. This is your spot. PS.. it's pet friendly as well, just need communicate with the host ahead of time for particulars.

Beautiful house in a great location!

We absolutely LOVED this house. The view of the lake when you go for a walk in the neighborhood, the wild turkeys that live in the woods right by the house and walk down the road gobbling at each other, all of the birds that live in the trees around the house that you can watch while waking up in the morning and hear singing... This was just the most zen and mellow house I've ever stayed at. Everything is upgraded with smart home technology, the beds are incredibly comfortable with high quality bedding, and the couches are very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could need, and the loft bedroom is perfect for older kids-- mine thought that was the coolest thing ever. The cleaners had missed something from the renters before us, but the owner was quick to make it right. There are little guides in each room for the smart home controls, and a very thorough book with everything you need to know about the house. We loved walking over to the Off Broadway Drafthouse right around the corner. It's a pretty walk that takes you around a park, and the food is DELICIOUS. The owner reached out several times as we were planning our trip and was quick to make recommendations for things in the area. This was just all in all a perfect VRBO experience, and this is without question the house we will rent in the future when we need to be in Madison again!
