Perfect location, walkable to restaurants and a short drive to the Gettysburg Battle Fields. Very thoughtful hosts and a great recliner sofa in the unit.
Couples or singles who enjoy history, comfort and convenience of a great location will definitely appreciate this place. The theater seats and bed are quite comfortable. Everything is clean and the little touches of history and hospitality make this definitely a home away from home.
Great historic home within walking distance to all Gettysburg shops. Hosts were great and communicated often to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend.
Perfect spot for just two. Easy walking distance to Lincoln Square resturants, shops and museums at that end of town, yet quiet at night for good sleep.
Great property, clean, quiet and within walking distance to many attractions. We appreciated that we had our own designated parking spot. Hosts are courteous and they aim to please. Would definitely recommend to others.
This was our 4th time staying here and I could not be happier with the property and host. They are extremely generous with the extra touches, like fresh ground coffee, fresh eggs and snacks. Lisa and Paul truly make your stay as comfortable as possible. We also have my service dog with us and they left a bag of treats for her. We already booked for next year!!
Charming historical home. Very clean and well maintained. Hosts were lovely and quick to respond. We appreciated thoughtful the extra amenities, including the fresh coffee beans, chocolates, and eggs! Great location in town. We were happy to park the car and just walk around for a few days to explore the many historical markers in town, fantastic restaurants and shops, as well as the Jenny Wade house, and the battlefield markers around Culp’s Hill, Confederate Ave, and Spangler’s Spring. Kennie’s Market in town was a very tidy and well-stocked option for food shopping.
Everything was accurately described, communication was excellent, location was excellent. Very close to anything you would want to go to. restaurants, battlefield, visitor center.Lisa and Paul were great hosts. Had coffee beans for freshly ground coffee, left eggs and a snack. They checked in with us while we were there to see if there was anything we needed. We would definitely stay there again! Nice sitting on the front porch with the rocking chairs.
The apartment was super clean and well decorated, close to downtown and yet in a quiet safe neighborhood. Communication with the hosts was great. Although I was in the area for the Quentin Horse Show these accommodations would be ideal for anyone looking to explore all of the history this town has to offer. I did travel with an elder pet and found the floors were tough for traction and the side stairs much too steep for access of the side yard. Would still highly recommend this property.
I have trouble with computers that made communication very hard. It was me not the other person. Location was great. walking distance to everything in town. The place was spotless and well stocked with all the basics tea coffee popcorn.
We found that the location of this property was excellent. We were within walking distance to everything downtown, and a short drive to the battlefield. It has a great convenient parking spot for you car, as well.

What a lovely and conveniently located place to stay. It was very clean and welcoming. So exciting to be so close to Culp’s Hill. You can walk right up to the park entrance in two minutes. I would definitely stay here again.
Our experience here was beyond our expectations. The place was spotless and very convenient to shopping, restaurant's, bars and history. The host went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We traveled with our fur baby, so it was great having a fenced in yard. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!Pam and Terry Foust from Florida

The owner was very responsive to our questions and provided many suggestions for us. She promptly responded via e-mail, then came in person to chat. Very kind and offered to provide us with anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. We really enjoyed the fresh coffee beans every morning!Very clean, exactly as pictured, great location, many destinations are within walking distance, parking was easy to find and convenient, will definitely stay here on our next trip to Gettysburg!
