It's always a great stay at the Preserve at Maple Creek. It's so quite and peaceful here which makes it a perfect getaway from the city. The hiking trails are perfect for connecting with nature. This was our third time staying here and we're looking forward to our next visit.

Thank you so much for the feedback! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay.
This property was incredible. Exactly as listed, and even better in person. We took our pups for daily walks on the trails which were conveniently located just yards from the cabin. Just walking the grounds was the highlight of our stay. You get the feel of being in the mountains, away from town, yet everything you need is within minutes and only 15 mins to even more shopping and dining. We truly enjoyed our time at the Barn Cabin and would definitely stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
The stay was nice, cabin and rooms were clean, and the surrounding trails are great for walking the dog. It isn't as secluded as many of the pictures make it seem, there is a large adjacent farmhouse with multiple guests. Many windows of the cabin look directly out to this adjacent property and the shared drive.

We make every effort to provide accurate photos that reflect the cabin's proximity to the farmhouse to assist guests in visualizing the property, and we regret any confusion this may have caused. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the trails and had a pleasant experience overall.
Great location! Hosts are very nice people! The cabin is epic! We liked The Glass Chapel. And even if you are not planning to hike on the property, make sure you check out the Bell tower! You will not regret, it is so serene... Wonderful place! We will be back!

The cabin was gorgeous. Beautifully decorated. The land scape was very well manicured. It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing. The host left very detailed instructions. This would be a great place to get married. The little church was beautiful. The house is easy to get into.

We enjoyed our visit very much even with the crazy storm or wind that caused the TV to go out. We loved the large checker board. The grounds and The Glass Chapel are beautiful. We loved the cabin and will be planning a future stay if the Lord is willing. Our host and her husband were great!!!

Awesome! Thank you for the feedback. See you next year.
Honestly, the pictures online are wonderful, yet my experience when i walked in was even better. The layout and space were perfect for me, and this cabin was truly charming. The owners were proactive with communication and the space was clean and well decorated. In addition, the hiking trails onsite were great, and it was close to Rutherforton and Tryon. I willl absolutely be coming back soon for another stay.

This is the second time we've stayed in a cabin at the Preserve. This is a special place and we certainly plan on coming back often. We love the hiking trails on the property which are very easy as our 5 year old son was able to keep up. The cabins are very clean on stocked with everything you need for a long weekend stay.

Awesome! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and supporting western NC, especially the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area.
We stayed in the cabin for 3 days. The cabin was extremely neat and cozy. It had many helpful features: lighting under a step, very comfortable beds, and room darkening curtains. The property has a very interesting history and things to see. The host was extremely friendly and shared the property’s history with us. She invited us to a museum of artifacts in the farmhouse.
