Where to start! Quaint, cute, cozy, unique.. and amazing host Shawn!Perfect spot in the middle of town...you can walk to everything along Bridge Street !Will definitely come back and bring the family and grand kids and just rent the other rooms too!!

This was perfect. We were here for a wedding and this place puts you RIGHT downtown; walkable to everything in Charlevoix itself.Communication from the host was great and made for a seamless process for check in and check out.The stairs to the loft bed are VERY steep. Just something to keep in mind. Easy for us, but I would have had second thoughts about someone much younger or much older using them to get to their bed.

Do it for the whimsy doll. Are the stairs impractical and hazardous, absolutely. Did I feel like i was sleeping in a tree house or Rupunzel's tower, absolutely. Not recommended for most people over 35 unless you stretch regularly or want a mild challenge

Totally Awesome Stay

The Loft in downtown Charlevoix was beautiful! Being centrally located to all the pubs, restaurants and shopping. Charlevoix is an amazing place to stay! Especially during the fall. The Loft was very clean and quiet. And the hot water was almost instant! A perfect spot to stay!

Apple Fest 2023

What a quaint little place to stay. Located a block off of the main street. Vendors, restaurants, apples, and vendors were at our fingertips. We were so close that we could shop and run our purchases back to the Vrbo, and then head out for more. This is not my first time of staying here. I'm already looking forward to next years Apple Fest and staying in one of Jatell's Vrbos.

Just what we wanted

My wife and I stayed here for a getaway in July. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Its charming character and ideal location to explore downtown Charlevoix were high points. There are a number of great restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance. We loved exploring the downtown shops, and bringing bags back to the property is easy as you shop due to its proximity to everything. The property is quite small, but there are a number of nice touches that enable very practical use of the smaller space. Me wife and I had more than enough space, and I think 3 people would be fine as well. The property had everything that we needed as far as dishes, towels, etc. Check in and check out were quick and easy. One important caveat is that I would not recommend this property for older people. The bed in the loft is only accessible by stairs that are close to a ladder. The day bed on the main level would work, but it is smaller for two. Also, we booked immediately before the Venetian Festival. The carnival rides were setup in the parking lot right next to the property. This could be either a plus or a minus depending on your preferences, so you may want to watch the city event calendar. This property is right in the downtown area. Overall, we loved this property and would likely book it again if we find ourselves in Charlevoix.

The space was charming and clean. Location was ideal for access to town and parking very convenient. I would have liked a USB charger some where in the unit, and a toilet paper holder. It was not easy to access behind you on the tank top. The chairs at the dining table were not very comfortable and there was nasty water in the base of the toilet bowl scrubber. I know the description stated steep stairs to the loft but I didn't realize you could barely stand up once you climbed up there. I did talk to Shawn who was very pleasant to switch rooms, but unfortunately they were all booked. Overall it was a cute space, and ideal for those who wouldn't be spending much time in it.
