Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing location

We enjoyed this home because of the hidden, quiet location, and the beautiful lake was a wonderful bonus. The house is roomy, cozy, and nicely decorated. The location is far enough away from the main highways, yet close enough to grocery, restaurants, shopping, etc. It is 21 minutes away from the beautiful Biltmore Estate and other attractions. Along with Biltmore, we also visited the Cove Arcade and the Pinball museum, which was a lot of fun. Also, the wildlife there is amazing. We saw wild turkeys, rabbits, fox. Fish and turtles come to greet you at the back deck when you peek over into the lake. Also, we literally watched a black bear climb the apple tree in the front yard and eat apples. We would stay here again if we return to Asheville, NC!

Nice Summer Get Away

The house was cute and had just the right amount of modern features and quaint charm. The pond is directly behind the house and you can fish off the porch if you want. The pond seems to be well stocked but the fish are particular about their food. They mostly liked worms and bread. We brought our kayaks and the size of the pond was perfect for beginners. The property is large and remote. There is a lot of wildlife to experience. We even saw some bears so make sure to keep you trash secure. Check in and out was easy. The GPS found the place with no problems. The Internet worked well. The kitchen is cute with modern appliances. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well.

Perfect Asheville Getaway

This home was stunning. It was upgraded very nicely, the beds and couches comfortable and the kitchen easily useable. The home is secluded and quiet with stunning views but also not too far from activities. We would 100% stay again!

Great Asheville area getaway

Bull Creek Escape was set in a beautiful, scenic environment. The pond, trees, hills surrounding the property are gorgeous. Remote, yet easy access to Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway

Perfect Getaway

This was my family's second stay at Bull Creek and we had an even more amazing time and look forward to making it an annual tradition. The property provides for a perfect escape whether the morning mist over the pond or the mountains in the background, you can't help but from being relaxed while staying at Bull Creek.

Relaxing, pastoral location!

A delightful location for relaxation, with pond and kayaks, wild turkeys, bunny rabbits, geese, and even the occasional wandering black bear. We will be back

Beautiful property for relaxing

The drive to get to this place was beautiful. The house itself was well maintained and comfortable. I wanted a spot to relax and enjoy the cooler temperatures and this fit the bill. It is a bit of a drive on winding roads to get to a grocery store so be sure you have everything you need for your stay.

Charming, but Property Management is Unprofessional

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is absolutely everything you need in a beautiful, secluded location. We were so excited when they said they allowed pets b/c we wanted to travel with our sick & elderly dog. I read & re-read the rules & confirmed the dog was coming in an email. We left the house in great condition. 2 weeks later Turnkey called me & charged me $200 extra for the dog - despite saying pets were allowed & my email.I can't get a straight answer from anyone. It's really disappointing.

Amazing spot

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The property is absolutely beautiful with the surrounding mountains and pond. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just a few minutes away, in fact, you can see where it winds through the mountains high above the cabin. It's a quick hop to Asheville as well, but we chose to only leave the house a few times to go to the nearby Ingles grocery store for supplies. During our stay, the last changing colors of autumn were still hanging on the trees, which was lovely. As far as the cabin, it was immaculately clean when we arrived. The many windows that allow natural light and air flow in the house are wonderful, but the shades can easily be let down as well. The kitchen, while short on cabinet space, is well stocked and had everything we needed. The only issue we ran into was that the Keurig coffee maker was broken, and the drip style did not work properly either. So, we bought a new drip style and donated it to the property because coffee is important. haha We did enjoy drinking our coffee on the deck overlooking the pond. There are three houses on the property, but the hills and well placed cypress trees still allow for privacy. One of the tenants came by to fix the gas grill while we were there, and he was kind enough to bring us firewood to get us through our stay. We enjoyed having a real fire each night. Our stay was really a perfect long weekend, and I hope this property is available for our next getaway. Shoutout to the owners for a beautiful cabin and stocking it with nice soaps, shampoos, and towels for guests. You guys rock!

Cabin was cute and rustic, which I expected and was fine. Beautiful setting and location convenient to where we wanted to be. But bathrooms were not clean (toilets) and the kitchen was kind of gross--ants and flies everywhere, surfaces very sticky. Well beyond what you expect in a house in a lake or wooded setting.

Great stay just outside of Asheville!

We have an awesome stay at this cabin on a private lake! We fished all week and caught several bass and catfish. The commute to Asheville was very easy and went into the city daily.

A little getaway

We came up for a weekend to enjoy some down time with my sister and her husband. We enjoyed our stay and did some fishing. We caught some bluegill and a large mouth bass. A group of turkeys roamed the property and nested above the pond in some pines. It was a clean and quiet place to stay.

Quiet getaway

We were looking for a relaxing place to get away and this place had it all. We brought our blue heeler who absolutely loved the pond and all the swimming. Beautiful place for evening walks and we were fortunate enough to see a momma bear and her two cubs. We will definitely remember Bull Creek Ranch.

Perfect

Beautiful property that makes you appreciate nature and a slow pace, all while meeting one’s needs for peace! Love this place! If you stay, you will meet Hook & Buddy the local snappers. You will hear the crow cry, the rooster welcome the morning, coyotes yip, and the mesmerizing sound of water. You may see a bear, bears, turkey, rabbits, and definitely fish…who will follow you…and beg for food. (They like Purina. Just saying.) Play a board game. How refreshing?! Eat at EVG. Baklava is a must have. Really enjoyed it and just what we needed! Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Unbelievable piece of property

The lake is georgeous. The night sounds and stars are awesome. Invite your friends to come visit while you are there - It’s a wonderful small party place with swimming, volleyball, mountain biking close, hiking close, and just sitting and being with nature. Really awesome place.
