We had a wonderful stay here. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Host was very responsive. Loved sitting on the front deck in such a serene setting. Would definitely stay here again!

Joe & Jen’s cabin was the perfect place to unwind - breakfast on the porch overlooking the valley, evenings on the patio surrounded by flowers under the ponderosa pines, and hearing the steam engine’s whistle throughout the day. Jen even provided robes, slippers, and a towel warmer!It’s a short walk through Jen’s garden to the Grill, where we enjoyed the best burgers and a taste of gelato, sitting outdoors listening to live music. And the Market was right there, too, a place to experience many of their other farm products and gifts from the area.The James ranch is truly a step back in time, where the entire family works together with their focus on regenerative farming at its best.

We had such a wonderful stay. The Ranch is a beautiful property and it was pumpkin patch weekend too so we were able to tour the grounds a bit with the owners and their sweet dogs. The cabin is so charming and comfortable. We were close to great hiking, the Durango Hot Springs, and wonderful restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay! Our host/hostess were right next door. It was convenient to skiing (the point of our vacation) and also town. They provide the option to walk to James Ranch which we highly recommend. Fresh flowers kept the cabin fragrant all week. The amenities were well thought out and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook for a couple of days. Loved it and recommend it.

Awesome Stay at James Ranch

The cabin was perfect and had everything I needed, which was mainly peace and quiet. Had dinner at the lovely James Ranch Grill and enjoyed the Durango Hot Springs and Spa not far away. All in all a wonderful stay!

Great peaceful and quiet getaway! The hosts are very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Super cute pups! The cabin is very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely relaxing and romantic stay. The location is perfect. Be sure to eat at the James Ranch Grill next door the food is delicious!

James Ranch Cabin

The cabin was beautiful. Terry greeted us upon arrival and we even met the puppies. O recommend this for a quiet getaway. Plenty of hiking and nature attractions to see close by.

Perfect Durango Stay!

Everything about this cabin is absolutely wonderful! From the screened-in back porch to the peaceful front patio, the entire place is a perfect retreat to enjoy the Animas valley outside of Durango. It is the perfect distance from town, with easy access to area attractions. Thank you for creating this beautiful retreat!

Graduation stay

We were so pleased with our stay in this nicely decorated and clean cottage. It was just enough space for my husband and I. My favorite part was sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful weather. The location is absolutely gorgeous!
