Our house is located in the beautiful district of Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen on a slope directly on the edge of the forest. The road to the house goes uphill. From the driveway, go down a few steps (about 34) to the entrance of the house. The apartment is located on the first floor, which is also accessible via a staircase.
From the dining room you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Neckar valley. The living room has a TV (SAT / TV), DVD player and a radio / CD player, as well as books and several board games.
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, mixer, pots, dishes, and a small dining table.
The bathroom has a bathtub with shower screen and a window, towels and a hair dryer.
In the bedroom you will find two single beds, which can also be used as a double bed, as well as a sofa bed, an optional cot. In the dining room is also a double sofa bed available. Bedding and linen are provided.
The apartment has two balconies: a small west-facing balcony with access from the bedroom and a large north-facing balcony overlooking the forest.

The apartment is an absolute Non smoking property. Smoking only on the balcony.

The apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the university hospitals Heidelberg and directly on the opposite bank of the Neckar orthopedic Heidelberg.

The apartment is located near the Technikmuseum in Sinsheim.

Several recreational pools, indoor swimming pools, the zoo, game enclosures, quarry lakes, as well as indoor and outdoor playgrounds can be reached quickly by car.

The city of Heidelberg invites you with its sights on excursions.

The Pfalz, the Odenwald, the mountain road and the castle road also offer many excursion possibilities.

Exciting boat trips on the Neckar and Rhine can be booked in summer.

We (my husband, my children -1.5 and 3.5 years old and I) live in the same house and will be happy to help you with any questions.

Lovely Heidelberg

This was a lovely property overlooking the Neckar River. It was up on a hill with beautiful views. We enjoyed the central location, as it was convenient for not only seeing the local sights, but to viewing areas within a couple of hours. It is very close to the train to be able travel with ease. The hosts are very kind and helpful. We made wonderful memories at this property.

Mountain Views in Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen

This was my first time using Vrbo and I grew up in Germany as an army brat and lived there for 10 years, but was very surprised to find this beautiful upper story apartment with a great view overlooking the river from a hillside in close proximity to the Heidelberg Schloss at a very fair price! The owners were very helpful even volunteering to carry some luggage when we arrived (danke!) and later on helping with some minor issues getting the provided washing machine going! I highly recommend it for the price and views, the location is not for the faint of heart in driving up a hillside with tight turns, but that did not effect me or my sister (who was born in Heidelberg) in the slightest! Vielen dank to Vrbo and the owners!

Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist super. Der Weg zur Ferienwohnung, sei es zu Fuß oder mit Auto, ist für Flachlandtiroler etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es geht steil bergauf, aber mit Übung klappt es dann. Mit Bus/Bahn kommt man schnell in die Altstadt. Der kleine Bahnhof ist in knapp 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Man ist auch schnell in Mannheim oder Technikmuseum in Sinsheim. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und super ausgestattet.

Sehr empfehlenswerte, tolle Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist etwas speziell- wirklich hoch oben an einer steilen Straße - gelegen. Für Flachländer wie uns war das etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig :-) aber dafür hat man einen absolut einmaligen Blick auf das Tal - wirklich unglaublich schön! Die Ferienwohnung war super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren gemütlich und nicht so durchgelegen, wie man das sonst schon mal erlebt. Die Vermieter sind ebenfalls extrem nett und freundlich und gut erreichbar. Als Begrüßung hat uns ein Korb mit Wasser, Wein, Salzgebäck und Keksen erwartet. Das fanden wir sehr aufmerksam :-)Alles in allem: Super Ferienwohnung, die wir immer wieder buchen würden, wenn wir noch einmal nach Heidelberg fahren sollten. Vielen Dank noch mal an die Vermieterfamilie

Unser Urlaub war sehr schön. Das Wetter hat mitgespielt. Die FeWo, sowie die Vermieter waren super. Der einzige kleine Minuspunkt war die Lage des Objektes ( Pedelec wäre ratsam gewesen).

Ein schöner kurzer Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Heidelberg

Wir haben zu zweit für 2 Tage übernachtet. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut und informativ. Die Wohnung wurde uns dann vom Gastgeber gezeigt, wobei wir auch gute Tipps für den Besuch Heidelbergs bekommen haben. Die Wohnung ist sauber und umfangreich ausgestattet. Die Wohnung befindet sich ca. 12-15 Minuten Fußweg von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. (S-Bahn oder Bus), mit denen man binnen 10 Minuten in der Heidelberger Altstadt ist.

Wie Zuhause

Hier könnte man sich wie Zuhause fühlen, nur mit schonerem Ausblick. Wohnung liegt außerhalb von Heidelberg etwas erhoben. Man hatte einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Neckar und grüne Wälder. Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit wirklich tollem Panoramablick. Gemütlich sitzend kann man das Getriebe im Neckartal beobachten, so wie wenn man Modelleisenbahn spielt. Außerdem die wohl nettesten Vermieter, die ich je erlebt habe.

Perfekte Woche

Es war eine top Woche. Die Ferienwohnung war/ist sehr schön, hat alles, was man braucht. Die Vermieterfamilie war sehr sympathisch und für alle Fragen offen. Eine tolle Geste waren auch die Begrüßungsleckereien. Sollten wir noch einmal hierher reisen, auf jeden Fall wieder in diese Wohnung. Heidelberg ist eine Reise wert.

Traumhaft. Unser Aufenthalt zu kurz. Es gibt viel zu entdecken in dieser schönen Stadt. Der Blick auf den Neckar vom Frühstückstisch. Wandern bergauf und bergab trainiert wunderbar;-) Wir werden wieder kommen.
