This property is secluded, exceptionally clean and very new! Just a very easy short drive to Lake Placid and Whiteface mountain. Check in and check out process was a breeze and very simple. Rick was an excellent host and provides everything you need to enjoy stay. My wife and I highly recommend Rick and his wonderful cabin!

The Cabin a Pine Stone was more than what we expected. The details of the decor, custom built pieces, and space efficiency of the cabin was truly impressive. What we loved is the cleanliness of the entire cabin, from fresh clean sheets to an immaculate kitchen! The cabin was conveniently located near many beautiful scenery stops, including just a walk to downtown Wilmington bridge. Thank you Rick!

This cabin is new and sparkling clean, and bonus, it was not artificially fragranced like many rentals. Just clean. It was a bit pricey for a place with one bathroom, however it was equipped with thoughtful amenities like a couple of water bottles, storage bags, and aluminum foil. You only get a few coffee pods, so bring your own for a longer stay. It is very close to the motel, but the motel was closed for the season making the cabin very private. The surrounding woods are stunning and the location was bike rideable to Three Sisters and Hardy Road mountain bike trails. The property has a shed to store bikes or other equipment in, which is handy. At the end of the road is a venue where you can have weddings or parties, this would be a great place to stay if attending one there. At night the venue area is wide open for star gazing.

Beautiful setting

This cabin was a perfect vacation getaway for my family. The fire pit and outdoor shower were big hits, and everything is still like new. Would definitely stay here again!

Picture Perfect Cabin in the Woods - near Whiteface Mt. & Lake Placid

Cabin was exactly as shown/described on VRBO. My husband, our teenager, and I thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations and the close proximity to skiing Whiteface Mt. (7min drive) & shops along Main St. in Lake Placid (18 min drive). Waking to freshly fallen snow on our final day made us want to stay longer - so beautiful!

Lake placid tour

We spent 2 nights at this home on a Maine to New York trip. We were most interested in the Olympic sites and enjoyed the many activities. The cabin was a wonderful home to come back to. It was so cute and efficient, wonderfully relaxing, and close to everything.

Perfect cabin

Cabin was very clean and the layout was well thought out. Everything was provided for being able to cook/grill -even had clean utensils ready under the grill cover for grilling. Owner was very quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay here again. Location was also perfect, close to Lake Placid and to the Peaks for hiking.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was amazing! It suited our needs perfectly, it was very clean and cozy. Perfect for my husband, myself and our 9 month old. It’s a 20 minute drive into lake placid, and about 5 minutes from whiteface. Very convenient but tucked away for quiet nights! The owners were very attentive and easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again!
