This was a lovely apartment that had everything we could possibly need for our stay in Florence. Cristiana went above and beyond during our time here and even helped us get a taxi to the train station on our way out of town. The location was perfect and central to everything. We hope to come back someday!

Check in was easy and Cristiana gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. It was nice to feel like we were outside of the main city but still close enough to walk to all the main sites in Florence. It is a beautiful townhome and overall a nice, quiet place to rest.

What a great stay. So close to Ponte Vecchio, but on a street that is super quiet and has minimal road traffic. Walkable to all the essential sites. The property is perfect for a long stay. It is two levels with a well appointed kitchen, dining and sitting room on the first floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the second. The patio is great for enjoying a classic Italian dinner or morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again. Check in with Cristiana is great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It's like having your own little home with a private terrace in Florence! Excellent communication from the host, greeted upon arrival and shown the ins and outs of the home and the area. And, a lovely bottle of wine and treats as a welcome gift from the host. We would stay again.

Beautiful two story home gave us the feel of living in Florence. Upstairs patio off the hall, though small, was a nice place to escape and have some wine and snacks. Getting to the home does require uphill walks almost wherever you go, but was doable for us who are in our late 60s. Living room is large and beautiful. Bedroom was large with high ceilings. Overall would not hesitate to book again.

Our stay here was very nice, offering privacy and not in the chaos of the city center. The pictures do not do it justice! It's adorable and still very convenient to all activities, restaurants, shopping, etc. Unfortunately, it was relatively cool inside for most of our stay, with the average temperature of 18.2 Celsius or 65 Fahrenheit. I would imagine this is ideal in the spring, summer, and autumn.

Lovely little house, great location. Walking distance to just about everything you will want to see. Our greeter, Cristiana was pleasant and helpful. A bottle of wine and sweet treats were left for us upon our arrival. Would highly recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hill you must walk up to get to the house might be a challenge to some. We are in our 70s and in good shape, and so it was not a problem for us.

A week’s return visit to Florence after 25 years

My partner and I found these accommodations spectacular! Impeccably clean and furnished and comfortable. It is true to the pictures online—and the two levels and the layout of the rooms even more delightful than the photos can capture. We were sad to say goodbye to this very special place and hope to return one day.

Great location! Easily walkable, quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time staying in this VRBO. The location is perfect, 10/10. We arrived early, the host helped us coordinate a spot to leave luggage to allow us to walk around Florence. We were so close to Ponte Vecchio & a short walk to sunsets at piazzale michelangelo, a grocery store and many good options for aperitivo and coffee. Would return again.

Great location and super cute place

We loved our stay in Florence and having this cozy apartment was super convenient. Aside from the short walk up and down a steep hill its was great! Although we didn’t mind the extra exercise! Quiet street close to the bridge and all sorts of action. Highly recommend, will use again!

Perfect little Italian hideaway

We could not have been more pleased with our stay here. Other reviews say the pictures don’t do it justice, and they are CORRECT! Tucked away just off the road, this beautiful two-story apartment features an incredible terrace where you can enjoy the morning sun, the afternoon breeze, or the night sky. You’re also close enough to the main drag but far enough away that it’s still quite quiet. Will DEFINITELY be returning!Thank you to Cristiana for being a most gracious and wonderful welcome committee, too!

Lovely House--Prime location

We loved staying at Casetta Bonsi. Ideally located to see all of Florence--the central squares as well as the L'Oltrarno. Maurizio was the perfect host with lots of suggestions of where to visit, eat, sightsee. Loved the restaurants recommended by him, particularly Il Bordino. The furniture in the Casetta was particularly nice--wonderful wood armoires and cabinets. The bed was very comfortable (as was the pull-out couch.) Our only minor complaint was that the pillows are too foamy--would be great to get some softer ones. We would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to a friend!

Firenze trip

Apartment is spotless in very good condition. Exactly as described. There is a fine grocery store close to Ponte Vecchio with a large selection of foods on offer. Also some good pastry shops. One caution is that the access is about 150 meters up a steep hill. At the end of the day for those 60+ after having walked all day, this can be a challenge.

Our property was so nice! It was clean, well laid out, and charming. The kitchen was just fine for our breakfast and snack snacks. The outdoor veranda on the second floor is beautiful.Well, the person that helped us with check-in was very nice, we got a wrong address and it kind of got us off on the wrong foot. And also took her a while to get there with the key. I do wish that would’ve been a little bit more smooth, but perhaps it was just the day. Just FYI this apartment is up a very large hill. Be prepared to walk it several times a day!!

Thank you so much for your review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the charm of the apartment, especially the veranda and the thoughtful layout. It’s wonderful to know the space suited your needs during your stay. We’re sorry to hear there was a bit of confusion at the start. The full address is displayed on the arrival documents, and we also emailed the GPS coordinates in advance to help with navigation—we’re sorry these weren’t used, as they usually make arrival much smoother. We understand there was a short wait for your greeter, and we truly appreciate your patience. We were pleased to be able to offer you an early check-in, ahead of the standard 2pm time, and hope that helped ease your arrival. We hope the views and peaceful setting made the short uphill walk worthwhile. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future! Italy Perfect Vacation Rentals
