We absolutely loved this stay! I will definitely be visiting again. We spent a lot of time traveling around the area but our favorite days were spent at the house. Beautiful sunrise too!

The house is clean, beautiful, lots of natural light. The view from the back porch can’t be beat. We loved going to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The best was coming home to the peace and quiet of the house over looking the harbor and watching the lobster boats! Such a quiet peaceful area, you hear more boats than cars! We feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

Gorgeous views from every room. Ray was a great host and had really nice local recommendations for restaurants, activities, and boat trips. We really enjoyed the cabin, which was meticulously clean and well-stocked. We hope to come back for another visit.We saw many seals from the front porch along with seabirds. Lovely location!

Extremely, EXTREMELY pleased with this rental. Ray, the gentleman taking care of the place was very helpful and friendly, also gave us a few spots to visit as we are from NJ. House was very simple and IMMACULATE! Breathtaking sun and moon rises out on the back day. Had all the amenities we needed to get started. Had some trouble connecting the TV to our WiFi but got it all working fine (turned out to be operator error, not the TV although I could care less about the TV with the views we had!) Highly recommend and well worth the cost. We plan to return now that we are hiking junkies!!! Thanks Ray!!!

The house was just what we needed two adults, one teen child one adult child and one small dog. The house has everything you need and more. It was clean, comfortable right on the water with the most beautiful sunrises. I loved hearing the boats in the morning. The kayaks are such a nice touch and the absolute perfect place to use them. A short 25 minute drive to Winter Harbor, hop on the ferry to Bar Harbor, and enjoy a whole day of shopping and food. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to it.

I absolutely loved this house. I could have stayed much longer! It is very close to the water—the pictures don’t actually do it justice. The views were amazing, and we enjoyed the quiet and solitude. I do wish it had a dishwasher, but you can look out at the water while you wash dishes so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Ray (the caretaker) was super informative and gave us some great advice on hiking trails. Just an FYI—if you show up late on a Sunday, many things (including the closest grocery) close very early, so make sure you bring some provisions with you.

The house and surrounding area are beautiful! It was very comfortable and filled with everything we needed. This is a great base from which to explore the nature preserve, hiking trails and Acadia National Park. The host was friendly and provided some great tips for enjoying the property as well as local highlights to check out.

Great spot to get away from it all

The property was exactly as listed. The views from the back porch cant be beat. Amazing sunrises and calm water help to create a peaceful stay. Ray the property manager was very helpful.

Quiet bay down the road from a national wildlife refuge.

Quiet and peaceful…the rustic home is a beautiful place with fantastic setup. Away from the crowds but close enough for an easy drive to the sites. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay.
