Partial Ocean views from window filled loft as your remote office or game room, strong wifi, two ice makers, filtered water, separate beverage fridge, new LVP floors, screened porch with cushioned rattan gliders, multiple porches to enjoy or relax in the shade. We had a wonderful stay at SEAk. The home is spacious, has a great setup and amenities, and is well maintained. Short walk to the beach and the access to neighborhood extras (e.g., indoor pool, racquetball court, exercise equipment) is a nice bonus. We will look to stay again.

Lovely home for a group of friends or large family. Such a close walk to the beach and to all the restaurants/shops Duck has to offer. The owners are very accommodating and quick to communicate as well. Having a pool at the house and also at the beach entrance could not be more convenient!

OBX Duck trip

Great experience all around from beginning to end. The communication with the owners was easy and helpful and the house was perfect. Six of us stayed and enjoyed every minute from the fun house that had everything to the two minute stroll to the beach front. I hope that we get to go back.

Wonderful Location

In my opinion this neighborhood (Schooners Ridge) is the best location in Duck. The house was clean and organized with lot's of amenities...the pool was great along with all the games and a storage locker full of beach goodies! The Host ( Aubrey ) was very easy to communicate with and you can tell she and her husband take great care of their property! We had a blast and look forward to our next trip to Duck! Ken

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property that is well maintained and a very quick and easy walk to a private beach access with a pool. The pool in the house is very nice as are all the amentities that it comes with. It was nice to have stay in a house vinyl plank floors! The owner messaged me they were updating the countertops, kept me informed prior and throughout our stay. We stayed a week in August with 11 people, 8 adults and 3 kids and it was so much fun! Been going to OBX for 25 years and this is one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed in. Schooner ridge is a real gem!

Lovely Beach Home

We loved our stay at SEAk What Matters Most. This is a lovely family home with everything you need for a wonderful week at the beach. Lots of room inside and out...well-furnished, very clean, two main suites, several decks, comfortable beds, large bathrooms, open concept with great kitchen, and lots of cozy seating. The pool was at the perfect temp, and the bocce ball court was really a plus! The beach was a short 4-5 minute walk. This home provided all of the beach equipment that we could possibly need, which was so convenient and appreciated. The host was aways quick to respond, and checked in with us during the week to see if we needed anything. We greatly appreciate all that the host provided, and we enjoyed our stay so much.

Great stay in Duck

Our family had a great stay at SEAk What Matters Most. The property is clean and well maintained. There has clearly been a recent renovation and the home feels bright and welcoming and has everything you might need to feel at home. The owner was attentive and helpful. The house is in a great location - easy walk to both the beach and to town. We rented bikes for the week and loved the ease of being able to ride to town for ice cream in the evening. The pool is a great size and we had a lot of fun on the bocce court and with the basketball hoop. It was great to have access to beach accessories (chairs, wagon, umbrella) for the week without needing to bring them from home. The Friday to Friday rental made the trip there and home so much smoother. We all agreed that we would rent this home again in the future. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay on the outer banks.

Fantastic Property. Great Vacation!

We just loved this house. It was very clean and roomy. Plenty of quality bath towels, linens and beach towels. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking and dining. Wonderful quality deck furniture with several cozy spaces to hang out. The kids preferred the covered deck space with porch swing. The grandparents spent loads of time in the screened-in covered deck space. We all loved the spacious, sunny heated pool. The supply shed was packed with quality beach chairs, cooler, sun shade, wagon and others toys. This was a huge bonus to save car space. We had one small issue during the week and the owners were incredibly easy to get a hold of. They were fantastically responsive and the problem was solved in less than 24 hours. The location of the property was perfect. A very short walk to the beach and an easy stroll to the shopping district. We can't say enough positive things about the entire stay. We are very pleased with the entire experience.

Perfect home away from home!!

This was our first visit to OBX and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Seak what Matters Most. Aubrey was so helpful and attentive throughout the entire booking process. She answered all our questions promptly and made the check in and out process a breeze. We loved the location of the house. It’s a short 5 min walk to the beach. The house is equipped with all the beach gear you would need (tent, wagon, chairs, beach toys, boogie boards etc). Not to mention, the kids loved hanging out in the private pool after a morning at the beach! The house is also a short stroll to downtown duck which had an assortment of cute shops, restaurants, bakeries, and Duck Donuts! The house itself is super clean, beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. It suited all our families perfectly. We were able to share the common areas, but everyone had their own room and privacy. Honestly we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house. Huge plus in the summer is Friday Check in and out. We got some traffic, but definitely avoided the Saturday rush. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Exceptional Property

Our first family trip to OBX was wonderful! So many things regarding our property experience went well beyond our expectations. Let me first comment on our host Aubrey. She was attentive to detail, quick to respond to any inquiry and extremely friendly. She went out of her way to accommodate and meet our needs. Thank you Aubrey and John! Now, the beautiful property. This house is spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The beds are large and comfortable, the three bathrooms were clean and provided ample space. A loft game room is well stocked with puzzles and board games. Additionally, there is well stocked bookcase with selection for all age groups. Outside there is a large pool which is sparkling. We wondered if it’s a salt pool due to the lack of chlorine smell ( which is always an issue with my respiratory system) The hot tub was enjoyed by the men in our family. There is a well stocked shed with pool and beach supplies which happily included a beach wagon., chairs and a sun canopy that was a breeze to put up. Just a very short walk to the beach access. The private beach is family oriented and not overly crowded. The community provides a gym and two which we made daily use of. Oh, and I have to mention that the Friday to Friday rental week was a game changer! I heard horror stories about the traffic however we had no traffic in or out!! This is a vacation home and host that we highly recommend!!

My name is Aubrey Rees. We are a Brady bunch family of two working parents in Dental and Architecture and 4 kids who live in Wilmington, NC. I grew up coming to the Outer Banks with my family every summer as a child and to have a home here has been at the top of our bucket list. We may live in Wilmington but our heart is in Duck at our family home. We have upgraded and renovated the house for cleanliness, comfort, entertainment and memories and appreciate you caring for it the way we do and helping us make our dream a reality! We have a local property manager who lives on the Outer Banks and are the eyes and ears offer home and cleans the property weekly. They are available with any urgent concerns during your stay.

(Y)our Home is a private oasis in the best location possible.... in the heart of the town and walkable to both the quaint town of Duck and the beautiful beach & sound. The town is full of shop and incredible food an drink and live music however the speed of the experience is what we like most.....it's a like a deep breathe. Once you park, weather permitting, you don't have to get back in your car if you wish. Instacart can deliver groceries on your arrival or wishes and the small business, small town personality is welcoming and refreshing. Our community is in the center of it all and offers it's own amenities at the clubhouse. At the house we designed it for our active family to be entertained and yet also cozy to relax. The large kitchen is perfect for entertaining and cooking. The home has an open floor plan in the great room with plenty of places to sit eat or escape to the bedrooms or 1st floor den all equipped with their own smart TVs or grab a book and take a nap!
