Owner did not communicate and didn’t show up!

I rented this property for a month to help my son through a health crisis. I tried communicating with the owner prior to my stay. I had a very late flight coming in and wanted to be clear on how to get in or maybe have my son to check in at their convenience. No reply. I contacted VRBO. They said don’t worry. I ended up outside a locked up condo at 1:00 AM!! No way in. Junk on the front porch. It did not look like they were expecting me at all! I ended up in a huge bind! The owner NEVER reached out to me and, last I heard never responded to VRBO either.
