Kihei and Wailea were unaffected by the recent fire.
Please beware - if you’re booking a Maui vacation rental, the west side (Napili, Ka’anapali, Lāhainā) is recovering from extensive fire damage and destruction. Those areas lack services parts are an active clean-up zone with the EPA removing toxic debris.
If you need more or fewer bedrooms, please send us a note and we can offer a customized rate. We also partner with nearby vacation rentals to accommodate larger groups.

Villa Moana Maui (vmmaui) is a $4.7 million luxury home tucked away on a quiet street, right on the beach, but is just blocks from downtown Kihei, allowing you to walk in moments to great restaurants, coffee shops, the gym or yoga studio, a craft cocktail bar or hip local shopping boutiques.
Enjoy staying on a quiet road, somewhat hidden from the easily accessible Kihei town and serenely situated directly on the beach. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves, wake up to a symphony of birds, open the expansive sliding glass walls to bring the outside in, enjoy a glass of wine on the large lanai while watching humpback whales splash and play in the ocean.
Entertain friends or host your entire family. Have private spaces as well as large open spaces to gather together. Every amenity is supplied and included complimentary. You will never pay for parking, high-speed internet, movies, laundry, or beach equipment.
This large luxury villa has with 8 bedrooms with 9 beds, a queen sleeper sofa and 6.5 bathrooms. The entire villa will sleep a total of 16 adults in beds; plus we can add a roll-a-way bed (for that teen that refuses to sleep with their sibling any longer) and one or two cribs/playpens if needed. With children as part of the group, we can fit up to 18 guests total. For larger groups we can partner with a nearby licensed luxury rentals to add more bedrooms just steps away.
Blazing fast dedicated internet at 300mbps is all yours; there’s no hotel full of guests to slow down your connection. Wi-Fi is offered throughout the property via a multi-point mesh network.
We’ve made heavenly beds to match our heavenly location. Crisp percale linens cover new luxury firm mattresses with a large assortment of pillows to suite your preference; (down/feather/memory foam/gel/hypo-allergenic). All our linens are ironed, so every sheet and pillowcase is crisp and smooth. It makes for an amazing bed. Each bed has a cotton waffle-weave light blanket topped with a separate mid-weight quilt. Each bedroom has control over its own whisper-quiet air-conditioning.
Our fabulous kitchen has been personally equipped by the owner; a gourmet chef who loves to entertain. High-end German knives and flatware match the professional series cook-top, appliances and all-clad cookware. There is service for 40 in stock.
All the tools to create a craft cocktail are at your fingertips and all the tools to create and serve a multi-course dinner are at the ready. Private chef services are easily available.
Our full-time concierge can assist you will aspects of vacation planning and activities.
Three large capacity clothes washers and dryers are in the Villa and we supply eco-friendly unscented detergent.
Our cleaning staff never uses harsh chemicals and all laundry is done with unscented detergents.
There are three areas:
The Top Floor/Main House sleeps 8 - It’s a 4-bedroom 3.5 bath with 1,900 sq. ft. on top floor - King/King/Queen/Twin beds
The first floor area sleeps 6-8 – It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bath on the beach level – King/Queen/Queen plus a luxury firm queen sleeper sofa.
The Studio sleeps 2 – It’s a large studio apartment with a king bed, full bath, soaking tub, shower, a reading nook, kitchenette and dining area.
The Villa is oriented towards the back yard, with ocean views that open up to tropical ocean breezes and a short path directly to the beach.
We only rent to one group at a time and may offer custom rates based on your usage. Please inquire.
There are a few other vacation rentals within steps of our location. We can assist you in coordinating with them to meet the needs of larger groups.

Communication with one of concierge was poor tried to book a chef and it did not work out she had poor email skills. Over all it was a great place for family time. Lots of space!

We had a group of 16 of us ranging from 4-70. This house and property was the perfect location for family dinners, short walks to the beach and the view was absolutely breath taking. The turtles came in every evening and that was amazing to watch. There was the best shaved ice and restaurants just a 5 min walk. We will absolutely stay there when we go back again. We range in age from 1to 75. We watched the turtles come onto the beach every night. Beach chairs, boogie board & cooler were provided & kept each of us happy on beach. Villa Moana is a beautiful setting with some of the greatest views you will see in a vacation rental. We host our family somewhere in the US every year. A dream vacation

If I could give our stay more than 5 stars, I certainly would. This property has every modern convenience plus more! The location was beautiful with the water right behind the house, nightly turtle sightings, all the beach supplies you would need, and the peace and tranquility that comes with staying in Maui. Ideal Beach House in Maui

We stayed at Villa Moana with a group for a birthday celebration and the beautiful home was perfect for us. The home is clean and well appointed - felt like it had all the amenities of a luxury hotel - and a short walk to the beach where we were greeted by sea turtles every evening. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces (balcony and yard) and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all modern and clean. The best part is waking up every morning with a view of the ocean. Wyatt is also very communicative and an excellent host and even provided a free concierge service (which we used and was fantastic!). We would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat and hope to stay again!

This place is amazing. There were ten of us and I rented the entire unit. I loved being in an actual neighborhood vs a resort area. We watched whales breaching and turtles from the backyard. Incredible Vacation House!

We really loved our stay in Villa Moana. We had a group of 15 people, with ages ranging from 9 to 82, and the house and property were perfect for all of us. We were all able to be together, but also have our own space. Anything that we needed or wanted was at the house, ready for us, and in great condition! Wyatt went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect vacation. He was very communicative and helpful, especially with coordination before our stay. We loved our location on Maui, the ocean views were beautiful. The family of chickens that wandered the property and the turtles that nested on the beach every night were also a fun bonus!

Our stay was fantastic we did get nervous with the fires a couple weeks prior to our stay but Candace with the concierge service did an excellent job scheduling everything we wanted to do! With our large family the house allowed everyone to have there own space. The views were absolutely wonderful. The beach did have a lot of coral but the kids loved the sea turtles coming up every night. Wyatt was prompt answering all of our questions and accommodating anything we needed even on the weekend and holiday. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift from my children.

This lodging had it all.

We had a family reunion with 17 of us, including babies, surprising my husband for his 70th birthday. We sort of accidentally found this house in Kihei, and it made all the difference in our trip. The large grassy back yard, the sea turtles at sunset, the nearby coffee shops, the well-supplied kitchen, and the lovely authentic town of Kihei all made this our best trip ever. It is convenient to harbours, a pineapple farm, the Te Au Moana luau, and the road to Hana as well as other hikes. We used and needed all 3 spaces in the home, and it had everything we needed. There was room for parking all 4 rental cars. Thank you, Mr. Sharpley!

Simply amazing!

Wyatt was incredible during the whole process from booking to check-in. He was extremely open on communication and ensured our stay was incredible - he was extremely helpful and flexible when it came to our check-in and check-out since we had our infant son with us that couldn't miss his nap times. The villa itself is beautiful, the views are stunning to wake up to every morning. The access to the beach to see sea turtles every night was so much fun, the kids absolutely loved it. The villa has everything you need and with separate areas it really helped with insulating sound for when our baby had to sleep. Overall it was a very memorable experience and we'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Maui. Thank you Wyatt!

The house was clean and they provided all the amenities you would need including simple things like dish and laundry soap. Very well done. Views from the deck were fantastic. Access to the beach was great and you will see turtles on the beach everyday!!The location is great in terms of transit to airport, west Maui, Wailea, etc.There were a few quirky things that didn’t end up being an issue for us but might be for some. The house is adjacent to beach access so you will have people walking by. Was never an impact to privacy. Some people walked their dogs through the back yard, but never when we were outside. The main floor and the downstairs are only connected by the outside stairs. Again not a huge issue, but not something most are used to.All in all a great place. We had 14 stay there and were very comfortable.

WOW - THE VIEWS, THE LOCATION, THE HOUSE! From the moment we arrived every detail was taken care of, form the welcome baskets, to the guided house tour with Scott, to the breathtaking views..... what a fantastic way for our group to celebrate my 50th Birthday! The location on the beach, with all the equipment to use on the beach, to the turtles that visited each night, it was all AMAZING! The house layout, kitchen and bathrooms had everything you could ever need! Renting the whole house was just perfect for our group, we were together but had space and privacy! This will be a place we will certainly return too! Wyatt was so easy to work with from booking to checkout, the Concierge to help with all our plans and Scott to help while we were there - this was a VIP experience - this is a must stay destination on anyone's Bucket List!!

This home was amazing! FULLY stocked with towels, and then more towels! Beach towels? Beach Toys? Games (board games)? Pots, pans, dishes? ALL COVERED. When we had a minor issue (needed a few more blankets) or if a specific item was not available (they purchased us a waffle maker!), Wyatt and Scott were responsive and fully engaged. We utilized the complimentary concierge services. The grocery orders we placed were purchased in advance and stocked for us. We also requested a private chef and had a meal prepared for one night of our stay. This is, by far, the most friendly, communicative, and supportive rental on vrbo. Wyatt and Scott bring the true spirit of aloha! home :)

Unforgettable Paradise

Wow, words cannot describe this Maui paradise. I booked this place for a post Covid family vacation. Our three grown sons and their families. Thirteen total. Plenty of room for our family of 13. The place was totally amazing with the best sticker kitchen we have had, the amazing sunsets, amazing sea turtles on the beach every night and amazing bonus goodies and flowers. The location was amazing. It was central to all sides of the island. We did a lot in one week from surf lessons, snorkeling, private hula lessons at tye house, old Lahaina luau, rain forest and vocal tour, sand castles, swimming, and lots of games. This is an amazing paradise largely because of Wyatt. He was very responsive, accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed We will surely be back. Meaningful Family Vacation

It's difficult to coordinate schedules for a big group, so the hope for a fabulous trip is pronounced. Villa Moana didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful and treasured experience. Five-star hospitality does not simply reflect the quality of the venue, but it is attributed to service and the small details. Wyatt was very attentive and interested in us. He communicated effectively and made sure things worked smoothly. He accommodated our preferences and needs and really made us feel welcome and cared for. Well done! A Dream Celebration Week!

Our family of 20 were able to stay the whole week together to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect. Time to relax, time to play on the beach, time to explore the cute town of Kihea. The house was beautiful and very conducive to both big fun gatherings and also private spaces. There were lots of fun yard games and the chairs for the beach were very nice with "backpack straps". Wyatt helped us in so many ways and was so attentive to our needs and questions. Couldn't ask for better!!! Note to future visitors! Go out early when the wind is calm for your best beach time- afternoons can get very windy in June. The coral reef is great but plan to use paddleboards or inflatables to rest on since the coral is best viewed quite a ways off the beach where the water gets deep. So awesome to have such a beautiful beach and a coral reef to explore! And of course the turtles every evening were magical- one evening we saw 25!!!

Why they chose this property

The History: We were paddle boarding and landed on the beach in front. The owner said hello and we chatted. The place was a rundown mess, but in the most amazing location, in what felt like a very sacred area. The owner was tired and wanted to sell. We wanted to redo the entire thing and have it fit with the location, which meant make it stunning. We think we created a peaceful, beautiful and ecological home that is in balance with the nature around it. It took two years and double the original budget, but it was worth every penny. Now it's ready for you to enjoy.
