About this property

Enjoy all that The Classic City has to offer during your stay at The Classic Cottage. This home is centrally located in 5pts proper, only a half a mile walk from Condor Chocolates, The Expat, Marker 7 and all of the other iconic 5pts eateries and attractions. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy plenty of onsite parking for up to 6 cars and just over a mile walk to UGA's Sandford Stadium, Stegeman Coliseum and Foley Field. Hosts' offering fully stocked kitchen for additional charge/advance notice.
The space
This home was originally built in 1940 but it was striped down to the outer brick walls and studs in 2017. The rebuild of this classic beauty is stunning! The home feels practically brand new! Each bedroom has its own walk-in closet, dresser and plenty of bedding and pillows. Guests can also enjoy and relax with a game of pool, ping-pong or a board game out on the patio. The kitchen is just as functional as it is beautiful. There is seating for 4 at the large open bar space, plenty of room for food and drinks in the double door refrigerator and walk-in pantry. Bring your friends, kids and family for a luxurious stay in Athens!

Guests can enjoy this private residence and yard all to themselves. There are two driveways, one in front of the home and one behind the home leading up to the detached garage. There is additional parking in the street.

Perfect Family Wedding Gathering Spot

Beautiful and exceptionally well appointed home in the historic Milledge Circle/Five Points area of Athens. So comfortable, clean, and centrally located for all our our wedding festivities. Our family of six enjoyed playing pool, walking the neighborhood and visiting the shops located close by. Not to mention the absolute comfort of the home itself. Luxe bedding and spa bath, chef’s kitchen all a bonus to our 5 star stay! Thank you Megan and Stephanie!

We enjoyed spending Christmas at The Classic Cottage. House is very charming and spacious and of course the neighborhood is the best! Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Plenty of staples in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Amazing house.

This house is perfect for a large family gathering. We were in town for a family wedding and hosted a bridesmaids luncheon at the house…it has everything you need. One of the nicest Vrbo houses I’ve stayed in. Thx
