You know when people leave a review and at the end they say we'll definitely be back? We'll I'm going to state this at the beginning. We'll definitely be back!OK the reasons. The house is comfortable, cozy and roomy at the same time. The living space was perfect for our 6 kids and 3 adults. The beds are excellent - the Primary bedroom is top notch with a lovely bathroom. All the appliances are high end and very modern. The back deck and exterior space is very pretty with lots of seating and total privacy.It may depend on your reasons for visiting Athens as to what you want from a rental property (proximity to Downtown / football etc), but as someone that lived in Athens for 17 years, I know the city intimately. The location of the house is about the nicest safest area you could possibly be in, while still being just minutes from everything. (Uber to Downtown 10, Drive to Downtown 10 mins, 5 Points is 5 mins, Kroger and Starbucks are 5 mins) If that's important to you, this is the house for you. I travel to Athens once or twice a year and always stay in a rental house. This is the best one, and I will try to book it for my next trip if it's available.

Excellent Home for Family Get together

We were delighted to see this property decorated for the holidays, as our family met in Athens to celebrate an early Christmas. The home was ideal for us, and the owner quickly solved a minor problem we had with the front door sensor. If we meet in Athens again one day, we will certainly book this lovely home again.

Location is excellent if you're looking to be near downtown Athens. House is well appointed and lovely inside. The master bath was amazing! My only drawback was the cleanliness of the back porch and backyard. It was unusable due to dirt, bugs, grime, etc. The exterior of the house could use a pressure wash and a refresh. We would have like to have enjoyed the firepit and backyard furniture but it was too dirty.
