Permit#200220. Rustic motif in this beautifully furnished 2 story, 2 bedroom town home on the 18th fairway of historic Whiteface Golf Club. Views of the amazing Adirondack mountains and within very short walking distance to shores of Lake Placid. Whiteface Club visitor passes* provided for Club shore and beach access. Wood burning fireplace/wood provided. Deck with flower gardens overlooking golf course. WiFi enabled. Cable television. Queen sofa bed. Cross country skiing in/out from deck. Bicycles (2) available in 1 car garage. Full kitchen completely provided with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, microwave, coffee makers (K-cup and drip),etc. Linens and towels provided.Trash and plowing service provided as well. Minutes from downtown Lake Placid as well as golf, tennis, cross country skiing, sleigh rides available.

*up to 5 passes provided per rental. Names for passes must be provided to property owner prior to arrival.

My girlfriends and I stayed at Jeff's rental for a girl's weekend. The rental was in a perfect location. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Beach access to Lake Placid was an added bonus. We are talking about going back in the winter to enjoy the snow events and plan on staying at Jeff's as it was an ideal set up.

Family vacation in Lake Placid

Everyone in the family enjoyed their stay. The home is very comfortable and clean. It's in a quiet neighborhood within a short drive of all Lake Placid activities. We hope to return next winter.

Wonderful property

This is our third time with the property. It's amazing views and clear mountain air keeps us coming back. Very quiet and peaceful exactly why we come up to lake placid. The lake access is amazing

Very pleasant stay

I am going to be honest this is my first time ever renting a property like this and after this trip I will DEFINITELY do it again, The place was very nice. Comfortable and super convenient to Lake Placid, grocery and some shopping. I loved having three bathrooms and the common area was nice and cozy. I do recommend this property.

Place was perfect we had a wedding on property, great location very close to venue. I just would recommend some lime away for cleaning the master bath and shower.

Host was extremely communicative and accommodating. There was a mix up with the cleaning company but he did what he needed to do to make the situation right. I left my daughters iPad and he was so kind to arrange to have it shipped back as well.

1980s charm, but needs a little TLC

We stayed at this 1985 time capsule during our winter ski trip to Whiteface mountain and Lake Placid.Pros:The living room is super cozy thanks to the fireplace and the copious free wood provided by the host (bring you own fire starters, though). Also, the location is great... not too far from downtown and near a few clubhouses. Also, the original 1985 GE refrigerator is a testament to the craftsmanship of American-made products of that era. Still working like a champ after decades of use... they sure don't make them like that anymore.Needs Work:As others have mentioned, some areas are in desperate need of renovation. For us, it was the bathrooms that need the most attention. Mold everywhere, but especially in the showers. Also, bring your own body wash and shampoo. Those were not provided.Overall, for the cost I thought it was fine. Cozy, comfortable but needs a little TLC.

Spacious and amazing location!

We loved this place! Our daughter was participating in the Lake Placid Ironman (and became one !!!) The condo is 8 minutes to downtown Lake Placid. It was very spacious, warm, and cozy and looks out over the golf course. The resort boasts beautiful scenery and landscaping with a view of Whietface mountain and has a short trail with a bridge close by. There were a few issues such as the 2nd bedroom window was broke, but is scheduled to be fixed, and there was a minor water issue near the washer and dryer which was promptly being addressed. Jeffrey was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a perfect place for a comfortable, restful, and peaceful place for the challenges of the Ironman. Thank you!
