This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location! The owner Morris was very helpful, communicative and flexible. The only challenge we experienced was a noisy bar located just outside the entrance and patrons congregating near the apartment's steps late into the evening. Otherwise, this rental was great.

Hi Shaun, thank you for your review and always great to see that it reflected on the over all experience of your stay. Just to clarify, there is a cocktail bar adjacent to the building and there can be additional street noise whilst the clients disperse at closing time. However varying noise levels are really just an issue on weekends and we have put acoustic glazing into the master bedroom to mitigate this. As Shaun’s review reflects, the location is unbeatable and is in the heart of the city! Social street noise etc is an unavoidable factor in the general scheme of things.
Lovely spacious apartment - with good size rooms, well equipped kitchen and comforable beds. Night noise is mimimal. The apartment is ideally situated on the edge of the New Town 3 minutes walk from Prince's St. and within easy walking to most of the attractions. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants etc nearby including two Wetherspoons. If you arrive by car, parking is expensive - outside the apartment it's 9 an hour during the day ! I drove about 2 mles out of town to Craigleith Drive (recommended by Morris) and parked for free and caught the 43 bus back to Prince's St. Also watch out for the Low Emmision Zones - unless you have an elec car - as you could get a fine.We really enjoyed our stay - Morris was very helpful with lots of info about restaurants, parking etc - thank you !
The flat was beautiful and in a very convenient location for all of our daily interactions!! We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Edinburgh! Communicating with Morris was very easy and he was very responsive!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! Great location! Love that it was right above a pub but far enough away that we didn’t have any noise issues. Was fun to go walk down the stairs and get a cocktail each evening.
This flat was absolutely perfect! Spacious, fantastic location, an incredible views of Edinburgh Castle. We will be staying here again. Morris was also incredibly helpful and friendly.
We loved our stay. Easy to walk every where from this property. View of castle was a bonus. Great restaurants a few steps from the front door. Thanks for a great stay.
Really great property. Tons of space, character, charm and amenities. Location was ideal. We were only here for two nights but my family wished we could have stayed longer and chilled here more. Would stay here again.
Brilliant location and beautifully appointedWe loved our stay in the Robert Louis Stevenson suite! From the moment we booked, Morris was an exceptional host, communicative, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our visit smooth and memorable. His check in instructions were detailed and easy to follow; once we settled in, he went above and beyond by sharing restaurant suggestions and local experiences that helped shape our time in the city. The location couldn’t have been better. Everything we wanted to do was within easy reach, whether we were heading to Waverley Train Station or simply exploring the surrounding streets. It made our days feel effortless and allowed us to settle into the city with the ease of locals. Inside, the flat was comfortable, inviting, and well appointed. We especially enjoyed spending time in the living room; the large windows brought in so much natural light, and it became our favorite place to unwind after full days out in Edinburgh. We enjoyed several meals out but also picked up groceries at nearby Marks & Spencer for some quiet, home-cooked meals in the charming kitchen. This was exactly the kind of stay we hope for when we travel: warm hospitality, a fantastic location, and a space that feels like a true home base. We would happily stay here again!

The property was close to the areas of Edinbugh we wanted to see. The place was clean and everything was as expected. We would definitely stay here again. Just great!
Great location, great property, and excellent host. We've stayed at many rental properties hosted on multiple vendors sites over many years, and this ranks as one of the best.
Lovely apartment, great location. Earplugs are necessary for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during The Fringe due to the proximity of the late bar. Will book again if we go back
