We liked the location. Way too many stairs for us. It was not clear to us just how many stairs there was. It would have been nice to have some more comfortable seating on top floor. We had a couple of us that had seriou mobility issues

The photos online do not represent the quality of this home.There was a strong odor of urine, the upstairs master bedroom sheets were not clean, and the master shower broke on the second night.This was my first time ever using VRBO, I so wish I would’ve read the reviews of this home before securing it.I relied on the pictures which was a mistake.

Master Bathroom: shower would'nt turn off completely and was dirty upon arrival.Master Bedroom: screen on door was loose and blood stains on pillow sham.Kitchen: pans were difficult to cook with as all food got stuck even with cooking spray.Fireplace is on vrbo as amenities but sign said not to use.Patio: bbq was disgusting upon arrival had old chicken stuck all over the grill. Chairs are rusted and dirty.

The house perfectly suited our needs. Plenty of space for four adults and one baby. Very quiet neighborhood just a couple miles from the water. Nice view of the rock and the ocean from the deck.

Nice location.

House was clean and spacious. Neighborhood is kind of spotty, but we had no issues. Was a good home base for day excursions. Decent view of the ocean and Morro Rock. It's typical California in terms of value per square foot, but that's just how it is. Would recommend as a central hub for day trips. Not a beach vacation kind of stay. Great place!

Mostly Good, But Cleanliness Needs Improvement

This is a great house, but the property manager needs to pay more attention to the property. There are spiders (inside and outside), stains on some sheets, and the upstairs patio was a mess when we arrived. The spiders and sheets had been flagged by other guests in the reviews, but I'd just assumed the manager would have already addressed, but was mistaken.There's also a second attached unit on the property, which was a surprise. It was unoccupied, but still felt a bit odd, as it wasn't described in the listing.If the cleaning issues were resolved, I'd happily stay here again.

Fix

We enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom shower needs to looked at. Doesn’t drain well and the faucet won’t turn office completely. I would make sure there are Kleenex and would add pictures of the steps to the upstairs. A larger couch would be nice or add a comfortable chair. However, it was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Beds were uncomfortable, basic cooking seasoning were not there, BBQ was really dirty, and noises of some thing crawling in the walls could be heard in the downstairs bedroom every night we were there. The owners left two clothes washing pods and four dryer sheets. Disappointing…
