About this property
Wander Anchor Bay
Welcome to Wander Anchor Bay! This stunning smart home is located on a 5-acre waterfront lot in Mendocino County with 180º views of the California coast. Enjoy walking all of the peaceful wood-chip lined trails that take you out to serene daybeds and outdoor picnic areas. The home is equipped with high-speed fiber internet and state-of-the-art workstations in every bedroom complete with monitors, cameras, and microphones. So whether you want to vacation or workcation, this home is the perfect find.
Wander Anchor Bay has 3 bedrooms, each equipped with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. It also has a full private gym overlooking the ocean with a sauna, Peloton, rower, treadmill, and more!
Many homes in this climate are built without air conditioning. We provide portable fans that can be used to stay cool and comfortable.
The property is a short drive to Cooks Beach, Gualala Point Regional Park, Sea Ranch Golf Links, and many more attractions. Our Wander Concierge is more than happy to assist you with planning an amazing stay at our peaceful property!
Before You Book:
Perched on stunning 40-50 ft cliffs, the views are spectacular but it is dangerous for kids or pets left unattended. The cliffs are also home to a family of foxes. They are nocturnal, but please take caution and be aware that though we try to keep the area clean, they may leave waste.
This two-level home requires stairs for second-level access. In terms of weather accessibility, the driveway may be prone to flooding during rainy weather. On those days, guests are advised to enter through the back door.
Wander Anchor Bay may have limited cell reception for select carriers, so we recommend taking a screenshot of the WiFi login ahead of your arrival to avoid disruption.
The weather in Gualala is usually mild, with July generally being the hottest month and January the coolest. Given its proximity to the ocean, it can be breezy - especially at night.
Suggested items to bring: Bathing suit, sandals, hiking boots, hoodie, rain jacket, comfortable pants, shorts, athleisure wear
For rainy days, the driveway may be prone to flooding. We recommend entering through the back door to avoid tracking mud inside the home.
