Casa Grande - Beach view house

Casa Grande

The largest Round House in the compound, Casa Grande comfortably sleeps six or more, and is perfect for big family get-a-ways or a company retreat. Casa Grande boasts a fully equipped kitchen, with a full-size gas range and oven, a refrigerator, hot and cold running water, breakfast bar and a L-shaped breakfast nook. There is also a dinning room table, spacious living room area with TV, VCR, and CD player.

This house has 3 separate bedrooms with 3 double size bed and two single beds.

All of Rancho Percebu is an off-grid solar beach/camp, air conditioning can only run with a generator. Therefore from June 1st - September 30 we will run the generator from 7pm - 7am only to provide air conditioning. All other power for lights, fans etc will be 24 hr solar battery power. The cost for fuel and generator equipment wear and tear would be prohibitive to run air conditioning 24 hours a day. Thank you for your understanding.

Air conditioning will remain 12 hours a day 7pm - 7am unless separate arrangments are made for fuel.

Great property

Beautiful property. I felt it would be safe to bring motorcycles and leave them overnight with no worries. Access to beach. 3 bead room but walls don’t go all the way to the ceiling so you can hear the other people staying With you. Would totally rent again.

exactly what to expect

we had a great 5 nights stay. Anna the owner is onsite and super friendly and accommodating. she uses WhatsApp and she texted me right away that we had left some items behind. She is even willing to ship them to us. while the description reads beach front it is states compound, there are 3 or 4 rentals and we had the house that so to say faced the parking lot. to get there is a 5 km drive.

It’s okay

The location was nice right on the beach. The house itself was great as advertised on the site. But the biggest down fall from making this rental perfect is that the AC, electricity and water, that is controlled by the property manager. The AC could only be on from 7:00 pm until 7:00AM then its shut off by the property manager on site. So you are left to suffer in the hot humid air until 7:00pm at night when it gets turned on again. And showers were 5 minutes or less so you don’t run out of water and same with the electricity it’s solared panel so you essentially had to ration your resources. Thank god for the pool over at the Museum Restaurant it is very close by the rental. This information should be on the description portion of the rental. That’s why I gave it a 3 stars cus of the AC situation.
