Absolutely incredible cabin. Nestled in the woods, with creek right behind it, and great deck. Fantastic property with easy access from road. Close to Waynesville, and about 40 minutes from Asheville.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Everything was clean, accommodations were top notch, and a fully stocked kitchen. The sound of the creek was soothing, and the fireplace was perfect after spending our days in Waynesville and Catoluchee Valley (a must for all). Definitely at the top of my list for future trips. I did not want to leave! Thank you for sharing your mountain home with us!!

Ginny, you are welcome anytime. We are so happy that you enjoyed our mountain home!
This was probably the cleanest, well equipped cabin / condo we have ever stayed at. Everything was spotless. Everything worked. Great private location. Sitting on the back deck overlooking trees and a babbling brook with morning coffee or evening with a glass of wine was amazing. Very relaxing. 10 out 10. Wish we could have stayed longer!
This home is so great!! You can hear the creek from the living room and the views all around are spectacular. This home was so neat and clean. Wonderful fire place in the living room. The owner was so thoughtful and kind. She had all the “little things” you don’t think/forget to pack, readily available. We would vacation more if there were more homes like this. 10/10!
The pictures didn’t do the house justice, once we walked in we were amazed on how cute the property was and how well kept things are. Being able to wake up and have coffee with the sounds of rushing water every morning was very relaxing. The only thing I’d like to have changed if anything was the over growth on the stream made it hard to walk around with the kids when they wanted to explore. Kitchen was stocked perfectly.

Thank you, Jake! We are happy you had a chance to visit! I took your advice and did some trimming down by the creek.
This property is much more than the pics & description described! The walking paths, the 2 set of steps that lead to the creek, the landscape all around the house & then the interior is just all breathtaking!! We were pleasantly surprised & wow'd!! The king bed was very comfy & everything was available that we needed!! One of our favorite places to eat was the Haywood 209 Cafe! We went for breakfast & then dinner one night! Very friendly & delicious home cooking! Also, the Publix was about 7 miles away & had all we needed!
We came to see the Biltmore Estate, but also drove around & explored after doing a couple of hikes.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!
We will definitely be back!
The property was much better than it looked online, which was good. Inside was very clean and the appointments were all of very high quality. The outside, especially the nice creek running out the back, was very, very nice. The only reason for a poor rating on Communication with The Property Manager was not the Manager's fault. It was the VRBO site. I tried to send a message to the Manager during my stay, but the message was electronically rejected each attempt. It seemed to be a problem with the site.

Paul, we're so glad that you enjoyed the house and the property. I had no idea that you were trying to message me; hopefully these issues are resolved at VRBO. Thanks again for staying at our house!
My friend and I stayed in this beautiful cabin for a week of catching up and relaxation. We were delighted with the attention paid to detail: the beds and bathrooms were luxurious; kitchen was well-appointed; gas grill was ready to fire up. Our favorite detail was the bird feeders, allowing for unlimited bird-watching. The decks overlook a beautiful landscape with the sound of the creek below. We were pleased to discover steps to access 2 different decks which sit right at creek side - a great spot for reading and contemplation. Host Margaret was helpful and attentive to our messages, even letting us know an earlier check-in was available as the cabin was ready. We enjoyed some days staying at the cabin as well as short drives to both Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway for outings. We are already planning a return stay.
The house was perfect. Not to far from town but secluded enough that you felt you were far away from the every day grind. The accommodations were top notch. The creek access was amazing. We loved the sound that you could enjoy from both outside and inside the house. The house was very clean with comfy beds and a fully stocked kitchen. We did not use the fire pit but I’m sure it’s very enjoyable too. We ate at the Haywood 209 cafe. It was great!! We ventured into Waynesville for lunch at the Boojum brewery that was excellent. We drove to nearby Lake Junaluska and Maggie Valley just to site see. This house will definitely be one that I would love to stay at again. The pictures were spot on and it was even more then expected.
This wonder vacation home is exceeding our expectations. The house is brand new remodeled inside and out: all pine floorings and walls. Modern kitchen with all the things you need: full set of pens and pots, dinnerware sets, silverware sets, oven, coffee pot, kettle, and more. Two bedrooms with full baths. Comfortable beds with beautiful beddings. Washer and dryer with detergents. Vacuum machine and floor cleaning supplies. Decking around the three sides of the house. Beautiful gardens. Multi-level decks lead to the creek. Publix is seven miles away. It's so comfortable that we will definitely stay in this property again.

We are so happy you enjoyed our special home away from home. Thank you for being wonderful guests. We hope you visit again!
Pros:
• Charming home with great up to date decor and very clean
• Easy and scenic drive to the house
• Well-equipped kitchen with ample supplies
• Extremely Comfy beds with plenty of bedding and pillows
• Strong and reliable Wi-Fi
• Good cell service (AT&T) both at the house and while driving around
• Convenient washer and dryer with a few laundry soap pods that were in the closet
• Serene property with abundant wildlife and a lovely creek
• The heating system works great
Drawbacks
• The sofa bed is really uncomfortable – you can feel the bars, making it tough for a good night's sleep or lounging. There's also not enough comfortable seating for 6 guests in the living room. During our rainy days, being stuck inside for two days, it wasn't ideal for TV watching and relaxation on the pullout couch, even with just 3 of us.
• It would be great to have curtains for the back sliding doors just to use at night. With the inside lights on, neighbors could easily see in, which felt a bit uncomfortable.
Note for future guests: There is no 1st-floor entry; access to the home requires climbing stairs.
100% would stay here again :)

Nikki,
I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. We have considered putting up blinds; however, since the house is elevated and surrounded by trees and rhododendrons (without any nearby neighbors) we have opted not to do this. I appreciate your input and hope you will stay again. Thanks, Margaret
Second time enjoying a row in North Carolina for Thanksgiving. House had everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. One of the things I always look for are comfortable beds, and these were great. Easy to prepare Thanksgiving lunch in the fully furnished kitchen. The convenience of the gas fireplace is also a wonderful perk. Very unique grounds and gardens as well. Cabins feel with modern furnishings… The perfect match.
One of the cleanest rentals we ever stayed in! You can tell they invested in upgrades and up-keeping at this cabin. Had everything you needed at the house for a fun weekend getaway in the mountains and kids had a blast playing by the creek and exploring the yard. Great communication/responses by Margaret.
