Beautiful home and property. Very quiet and private. Perfect for our MEA weekend getaway for 2 families with 6 kids total (ages 3 to 11). Lots of space to play and still have room for the adults to hang out and talk. Everything was clean, and the owners were very responsive and helpful.

The property was clean and family friendly. It's a private spot on a lake that isn't very busy, which was great. We caught some nice fish and the lake was great for water skiing and tubing. The hosts were very helpful when I called with questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home. Had everything that was stated in the listing. 3 season porch was utilized the whole weekend. Little bump at check in but the host fixed that right away. My family and I had a great time. Lots of water time and the kids loved the raft in the lake. Will stay in the future for sure.

The house on Lake Louisa was very clean and met the needs of our group of eleven very well. We loved the screened in porch, the outdoor patio area, the in home stereo system, and the Pac Man game on the lower level. The beach and lake were less than expected, but overall the property was very nice!

Loved the view, the lake access and all the spaces for gathering or solitude. Great for fishing and water sports! The size was perfect for our family-eleven guests in all. would consider renting again!Communication with host was awesome! Nice sized kitchen with plenty of dining spaces - indoor dining table or outdoors on the patio. A few maintenance and housekeeping issues, but nothing serious. Please be neighborhood friendly, home is at the end of a one lane road; take it slowly to keep everyone (and the wildlife) safe!

Wonderful layout with common area and kitchen in open room overlooking lake. Lots of time in food prep with large groups, but cooks can still be a part of conversation and goings-on. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, video game machine a fun surprise, lots of comfortable places to gather for conversation.Second fridge downstairs super helpful for large group.Beach area smaller, property steeper and not as much lawn as expected based on pictures (so no lawn games), but we had older kids so they found other things to do. Lake green with lots of floating ick this time of year, so no swimming near dock for us. But got out with kayaks and paddleboards daily, and kids swam in middle of the lake anyway. Really private, beautiful piece of land, great house for communing and still having private time if desired.Highly recommend!

Our week at the lake.

The cottage was good for us. The lake is small but we could still enjoy our time.

Hi Rita & Gary, I’m sorry we could not deliver a 5-star experience for you and your guests. I hope the lake size was not a surprise despite your tour of the property last fall. We strive to provide a great experience for all our guests and look for continual improvement. I hope our accommodations for your requests were helpful and beneficial to your stay. Thanks again! Great Family Getaway

Really great property for a family or group gathering. The house was great with 2 levels to hang out in, screened in porch, and awesome area to hang outside. The kids loved the hot tub and roasting s’mores by the fire. We would definitely recommend this property.
