We had the best time visiting the Cape! We've stayed in several different units at Barrier Dunes over the years, and this one was by far our favorite. The unit was spotless, the beds were so comfortable, and the extra beach gear was a huge bonus that made our days on the sand so easy. Our host's communication was exceptional, especially with the storm in the Gulf. We always felt informed and taken care of, which gave us real peace of mind.We can't wait to come back soon and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
My family loved our stay in this condo! Clean and well decorated. Felt very much at home. Easy walk to the beach and loved being able to access the pool easily from the beach. We could easily switch between the beach and the pool without having to clean up or going on a huge walk. Especially helpful with toddlers. The condo has steps to downstairs right off the family room. A baby gate would be a great addition or a very smart idea to bring if you have toddlers.
We loved our stay here. The kitchen was properly equipped and it was so nice to stay in a place that has been kept rid of sand, has comfortable and spacious beds as well as next to one of the most beautiful beach(es) at the nature preserve next door (they have two beaches one in the bay that offers still calm clear waters and one with waves if the current is stronger). Cape San Blas is our favorite place (family of 4) because of how tranquil and private it is. We would definitely stay here again. Oh! Bonus if you have an EV, this place has a charger.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The unit was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach toys. Everything was wonderful. One suggestion I have is to put black out curtains in the bedroom with the twin beds. It gets very bright in there in the morning! Thank you for everything!
Wonderful property. Very clean and well stocked. Great family vacation. We hope to visit again. Beach and pool had easy access. Highly recommend this property.
This place was perfect for our family. The location was even better than I expected- everything felt close (view of the grassy area, pool and tennis court. Easy little walk to the beach). The condo was stocked with so many conveniences (beach wagon, umbrella, beach chairs, tennis & pickleball equipment, kitchen gadgets, seasonings, oils, foil, etc. for cooking). The beds were comfortable and the whole place felt spacious enough to be together but also have some privacy. Check-in was so simple and I appreciate that we were able to get in a little early. Would stay here again!!
Very nice town home. Little crowded on the beach, but manageable. Nice community.

Amazing stay
My sister and I took my grand baby to the beach. This was my first time at Cape San Blas. Stephanie was wonderful to us and the house was perfect !!! We will be back!!
Everything was so nice! Loved the beach decor. Short walk to the beach! Had all the necessities we needed. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely return!
We really enjoyed our stay here. I'm shocked at how well the property is appointed with decorations and essentials that make the property feel like home. It is not some sparsely appointment income only property. Very nice. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
We were very impressed with the quality of the unit. The kitchen in particular had very nice countertops and new appliances. It was also stocked with all we needed for meal prep.
The outdoor enclosed shower was nice to get all the sand off. My kids loved the provided boogie boards and pickleball equipment. Also, the AC units seemed new and had no trouble keeping the condo cool.
The location within the community was great. We were in between both pools and no more than a 2 minute stroll to the beach.
When I had questions, the property manager was very responsive. I don’t think I waited more than a couple minutes for any answer. She helped us know where to go for some late night groceries (ran out of coffee!!) and connected us with a rental company to get a beach tent.
My only complaint (and it’s a stretch to call it a complaint) is that the cart to carry our stuff to the beach was not in great shape (but I’m grateful there was a cart!). The front wheels were difficult to maneuver so I often had to raise it on the back wheels only to push/pull. It may be time for an upgrade.
We have stayed at MANY homes in Barrier Dunes and this was by far our favorite! The updates, all the kitchen items we could need, and very clean. We will be back!
We will rent through them again. Everything was great with the exception of the Wi-Fi not working half the time and the living room cable not working. This really worked out for the best as the kids weren’t able to play video games and on their phones so we broke out the games and spent more time outside. This was one of the best vacations we’ve had in a long time.

Hi Steve - we're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Anchored at the Cape. I do hate that Mediacom was having internet and cable issues during your stay. It sounds like you all made the best of it and we hope to have you back again soon!
