AMAZING place! Loved the vibe and the overall inviting feeling. The complimentary bread and jam were such a nice touch as well as the little chocolate on the towels. We had everything we needed and check in and out went very smoothly. Host was extremely responsive to messages and very nice. Would definitely stay here again. The entire area was beautiful. Us and our puppies thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you!!
We rented this property because it met our primary requirements. It was a very brief trip from the house into Boone and/or Blowing Rock. Access to the house is excellent for older folks who want to avoid lots of steps. And the porch is exquisite! Although we didn't cook while we were there, it would have been a joy. I can’t imagine needing anything that wasn't provided. We highly recommend the property and hope to visit again some time!
While we had no need for the fireplace during our stay, the property was very cozy. We appreciated the numerous and comfortable sitting options to just kick back and relax with the tv after a day of exploring. The welcome gift of a local bakery's bread and apple butter was a really thoughtful touch!
This home is conveniently located in Boone so you can go into town or to one of the other towns. The home has plenty of towels, comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen. It also has a large porch with a swing and dinning table. We would definitely stay here again if it is available. We appreciated the bread and jam the owners left for us too.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. We loved the openness of the kitchen/living room area. The house was very clean and well maintained. It also has plenty of parking.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home. We loved sitting on the front porch in comfort while drinking our morning coffee. We were able to good Easter dinner for our family in a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed Boone and all it has to offer with our App. State students. We will for sure be back!!
This is our 4th or 5th time staying here. The home is always immaculate and the Christmas decorations were the cherry on top. The host is very responsive.
We had a great stay at Christine’s property. We had all we needed, and her communication was prompt and helpful. She even left us fresh baked bread and jam. Highly recommend!
This was our second time staying in this property and it is absolutely the best in Boone. Best location, cleanest, well stocked, the best porch and even visits from deer and a bear. Had a great time our entire stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the snow. Christine is the finest host we've had in our many stays in VRBO properties. She even sent us a text to let us know the bear had been spotted coming up the driveway. Looking forward to our next trip to Boone.
We stayed here for an ASU football game. The property was well maintained, clean and accommodating. There was even locally made jam and fresh bread waiting for us upon arrival. We will definitely be staying here for future visits to Boone!
Christine was super communicative, very helpful, and the house was fantastic. It’s a very short drive from App but also remote, so it’s a perfect balance.
Very welcoming host! House was immaculate. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the gas fireplace. Comfortable beds and spacious showers. Well-appointed kitchen. Cozy mountain retreat!
We loved everything about this place - from the ideal location, to the communication with the hosts, to the warm welcome to both us (Stick Boy bread and apple butter) and the dog (dog biscuits), to the front porch swing and rockers, to the large yard, to the comical signs in the bathrooms, to an overall relaxing stay. We look forward to returning!
