Front row views with a second row price. Set back from the road for privacy both front and back, this is the ideal home for couples and families alike. This three+ bedroom spacious home has kitchen, dining area, and living room with a spacious bedroom/full bath on first floor. There are two additional bedrooms/full baths on second floor, with sitting room off master bedroom that can serve as a fourth bedroom; all with access to decks. Cypress paneling throughout with pickled oak floors. Fully equipped kitchen for the gourmet chef(s) in the group. Beach access across the street. Outdoor shower and grill on ground level. This is the place to come for a memorable, relaxing vacation that you will never forget.

For those music and history buffs...This house overlooks the northeast of the Porgy House, where Gershwin conceived and wrote the early drafts of 'Porgy & Bess.'

Great Trip!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Exactly as described! Beautiful ocean view, balconies, comfortable beds, quick walk to the beach, includes a beach cart which was so helpful. Highly recommended!!

Folly Beach stay

The property was nice for our family, but a little distance from the public beach entry. The kitchen was well-appointed and perfect for cooking while there were late sleepers.

Lovely house!

The house is very convenient to the beach, and it has a great ocean view from the upstairs porch. It was also spotlessly clean when we checked in, and very well equipped with kitchen gear, etc.

Comfortable Beach House

The Hidden Treasure beach house is very comfortable and clean, and has everything for a summer's vacation. Easy and very short walk to a nice beach. Conveniently located to restaurants, bars, and beach type shopping. Short driving distance to Charleston. This family of 6 would like to return!

Everything you could want

Wonderfully maintained home. Convenient access to beach, short walk to shops and restaurants and minutes to downtown Charleston. Owner was very accessible and attentive. Couldn't have asked for more!!!

Better than expected!

We were so impressed with this home! Everything was spotless and so much nicer than the pictures showed. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you could ask for. Plenty of space for the 6 adults and 2 little girls. Carol was so easy to work with. She even left us a bottle of bubbly! Definitely recommend this one!

Comfy, cozy with a great view!

My husband and I enjoyed our time with our daughter and her family in this beautiful property. Kids enjoyed having only a short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed all hours of the day. Morning walks, relaxing under an umbrella during the day and kite flying in the evening. We never needed to leave the area to get great food. Lots of good restaurants and a good variety of types and prices. Thank you, thank you!!

Nice property

Very nice house - alot of room and very convenient to the ocean. Quiet street and quiet at night. House tastefully decorated and has all the supplies that you will need. Hammock is very nice and porches are great! Everything updated and sitting room off the master is a bonus. Very much appreciated the little extras that we did not need to take like: beach chairs air mattress cooler boogie board Again, very nice and owner was on top of everything!

One of our best rentals ever!

This was one of the best rental property's we've ever stayed in! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The linens were wonderful, there was an abundance of towels and the kitchen couldn't have been better stocked. I usually have to keep a cooler outside for extra drinks but the large fridge made that unnecessary. The views of the ocean were beautiful from the master bedroom and the hammock off the master was a wonderful escape. The owners were quick to respond and very friendly. We will definitely rent this home again!

AMAZING

This home is amazingly decorated. Carol has put a lot of love & attention to detail in the home. Every room has it's own unique décor. Every bedroom & the sitting area we also used as a bedroom, was so comfortable. The linens also were nice quality. We took our daughter 30 & grandkids 3,11,13 we all loved it. The beach walk is just across the street. We will rent this home again, the home makes a lot of the vacation memories. Thanks Carol we had a wonderful vacation!

Great Location, Great House

The location of the property is just two houses down to the beach entrance. Because it was so close, we were able to go the beach every day and see it early with low tides and evenings. We were able to get to the beach early and find a great spot. Carol had beach chairs and beach towels available to use. The Kitchen was stocked with many dishes and bowls and pans. We found a pick your own strawberries place and the kitchen had an angel food cake pan! So we baked an angel food cake to enjoy with our fresh strawberries! Check in/out was easy. Really enjoyed our week.

We loved this house!

This property is very well kept! We were very relieved when we arrived as you know how some places are very different than the picture. Though there are three bedrooms, we were able to close off the master suite to make another bedroom and my parents were able to stay the night to extend their visit. The beach is so close that we just ran back and forth when we needed something. And the views from the second floor were great. Spent evenings with family drinking cocktails and making memories. Can't say enough about this home or the owner. She was responsive and kind to a fault. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice place for a family stay at Folly Beach.

This is a beautiful and comfortable house. The views from covered decks are wonderful. A clever latch on the gate to the deck stairs means that the toddlers can scamper around safely while the adults relax. The master bedroom has a view of the ocean. The sofa bed in the upstairs sitting room makes a comfortable bed for other guests that wish to wake to an ocean view. As mentioned by other reviewers this house is well equipped. If you are flying into Charleston, all you need are the items you can fit into a carry on. We just drove in from Columbia but it was very nice knowing that we didn't have to bring bulky beach towels and chairs. The kitchen has everything a cook needs and the essential paper products are already there. A vacation here is simply a time to relax and . Jane Schwantes

Excellent Folly Beach Experience

Good Location, Close to Beach

This home is very nice and it is super close to the beach with a short walk. The only issue that we had was the construction going on next door. We weren’t told it would be going on and it was VERY disruptive. We also lost power for about 3 hours when the power company changed out the power lines / poles. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Truly a Hidden Treasure

This home is fantastic and perfect for a large family -or- family with friends. The interior is very nice and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked allowing for quick snacks or full meals. The home has two porches but the upstairs porch with the hammock is excellent. We hope to return next summer.

Fabulous house and location!

We couldn't have been happier with this rental for our vacation. Clean, excellent location on the island (very quiet part of Folly), close beach access, and house was equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely rent again!!

Amazing Beach House!

This house is everything a family needs to have a fantastic beach vacation. The location of the home to the public entry to the beach is maybe a two minute walk. This came in handy many times when one of my children had to run home to use the bathroom etc. The view of the beach from the top floor porch is breathtaking. The house itself is better than what the photos present. The beds are very comfortable. The kids room even had a blackout curtain which was really helpful for my kids bc they go to bed before the sunsets. Overall we loved it and will definitely rent from Carol again!

Great home & location!

The descriptions are accurate, more so than some of the photos (in a good way!). Specifically the TV's are modern flat screens. The upper deck and its hammock are the best feature. Great breeze and a calming view of the ocean (but not the beach, no great loss). The hosts are amazing! They were very responsive to any question we had. One brand new appliance had issues, nothing they could have controlled, and they were very supportive and helpful. The house is much bigger than two people need, but the location was good which is why we opted for their larger place. We liked Folly Beach's laid back vibe and vibrant town center (lots of restaurants). If we come back, we would hope to rent there again.

Folly Beach House

Nice property. Everything worked as it should, including all appliances, tv's and lighting. The master BR was great with lots of room and beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the large decks on both floors. The only issue was that the upstairs was warmer than the main floor, which was nice and cool but that's to be expected, I guess. Everyone loved the short walk to the beach with easy access. Also, it's only one mile to the town of Folly Beach, which was an easy walk if you wanted to.

Why they chose this property

We love the view of the ocean from the upper deck. The house is impeccably built by a local builder with careful details throughout the house. We also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Folly. It has the open feel of a beach community without the constraints that sometimes occur in more recent planned communities. There are great restaurants right on the Island and downtown Charleston is only a 20 minute drive away. There are hidden treasures within Folly Beach and beyond in Charleston, waiting for you to discover to them!

What makes this property unique

Close to the beach walkover--just two houses down. Great views of the ocean. Within easy walking distance (0.9 miles) to Center Street on Folly Beach.
