Welcome to The Boathouse! Our 4 bedroom 2 bath stationary houseboat is moored at Crystal Springs Marina Village on beautiful Lake Ouachita - just 15 minutes west of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Lake Ouachita is a stunning, crystal clear lake surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest.

The Boathouse has a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances along with central heat and air.

Jump right off the back of the boat into beautiful Lake Ouachita with a built-in ladder off the rear deck to get back on the boat easily.

Access to hiking/mountain biking...
The Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOViT) travels up, down and along mountain slopes through a mixed hardwood and pine forest, opening up at several places to spectacular views of the lake before you. Beautiful displays of wildflowers await hikers and bikers during the spring and summer months. Along the trail, pits left by quartz speculators and the remains of a moonshiner's still are evidence of the area's colorful history. Plans call for the trail to extend 35 to 40 miles along the shores of Lake Ouachita, running through private resorts and public campgrounds and ultimately to Blakely Dam to the east. Linens and towels are included but you may want to bring some extra beach towels.

Discounts available for jet ski, ski boat and pontoon boat rentals or bring your own boat and park next to The Boathouse for free. Covered boat storage may be available at Crystal Springs Marina for a fee.

Note: The Boathouse is moored at our dock which is located in a wake zone area, which means the boat will rock as other boats pass by. If you are prone to motion sickness, you may want to visit The Boathouse in the off-season when the lake isn't as busy.

We came to see the famous Lake Ouachita and its everything you expect and more! This Boat house is perfect for doing so, they have everything you need. The morning view is incredible from the very spacious back deck. We boated and visited the entire lack and had the best accommodations right on the water.

The most beautiful lake anywhere!

We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay. We rented the premier pontoon that was parked right next to the houseboat. Both were perfect, roomy and easy to maneuver for my 75 year old father. Thank you so much for the excellent hospitality!

Great family vacation

Property was very unique, clean and seemed very new. Very happy with how well the kitchen was stocked. Owners were so accommodating and attentive. We enjoyed our stay! Kids had a blast. We had kids 7-12.

Awesome place to stay!

We absolutely loved staying at the boathouse! The location on the water is great and the view cannot be beat! It had plenty of room for our group of 6 and we felt very comfortable staying there. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The black stone grill was a nice addition! Communication with the property manager was easy and she was readily available when we had questions. Would absolutely recommend staying here and we plan to come back in the summer time to take advantage of the warmer weather and spending more time on the decks!

Like a Dream!

So clean new and cool! Was a great place to come back from the lake and islands. We didn’t want to leave! It had everything and the most comfortable beds with clean white bedding. The views were amazing and the kitchen and bathrooms so nice and clean. Loved having the washer and dryer for towels! They were all so helpful and super nice! Already booked for next year!

AMAZING GETAWAY !

We absolutely LOVED our trip to the boathouse . The staff is so nice and very helpful (wish I knew everyone’s name). The welcome cookies are YUMMY. The view was beautiful. The pictures online are spot on. We didn’t want to leave . Thank you for a amazing adventure ! I would recommend the boathouse to anyone .

Best place hands down

This boathouse is everything you need for the perfect getaway. Ashley, the office manager, met us at the entrance and showed us around. She even answered 5 million questions from the kids. We could rent kayaks through Ashley also and she really helped make this trip stress free. This house is plenty big enough for families of 8 like we had and still room for more. Cannot wait to come back and stay longer.

Peaceful and relaxing

I was impressed with size of the property and the layout. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The grandsons liked being able to swim off the back deck and there was plenty of seating for the adults throughout. Ashley was very nice and made us welcome when we arrived. The dock staff was courteous and very helpful. The kitchen was stocked with everything one needed to prepare meals. I especially liked the fruit bowl which allowed for placing fruit in easy reach without digging through bags. We all had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend the Boathouse.

Such a beautiful place, a truly amazing vacation!

We had such a great time on this houseboat! From the moment I reserved the property I had prompt communication with both the property owner (Suzanne) and the property manager (Ashley). This property is absolutely beautiful. We had fun fishing off the dock, mining for crystals at nearby places, and took a horseback ride in the Ouachita Mountains. So many beautiful places to explore nearby. Ashley the property manager was so sweet and helpful. She made us feel like we had known her forever! She gave us so many wonderful ideas of things to do in the area. We even had a rainy day and it was just so peaceful enjoying family time on the houseboat. If you are looking for a great vacation spot in Arkansas this is the place!! We hope to come back again soon!!

A+ hospitality at Wake Zone!

The property was perfect! Full kitchen and washer dryer was so nice! Ownership/management and staff are accommodating and hospitable. It’s wonderful having access for boat, pontoon and wave runner rentals at same property. Kids jumped into the lake from the rear porch deck. Worry free, Everything included, we walked in with our food and clothing ; ready to relax & play! Celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary, the team decorated with balloons and cake. You made our time so special! We had an age range of 6 - 73 years and all enjoyed the 1 week stay. We will be back! Thank you Donnie & Suzanne and all of the wake zone crew.

Great place to have a business meeting!

The Boathouse exceeded our expectations. Everything was brand new, very spacious, views are incredible from all areas of houseboat. Quite, peaceful. Was great! We had a departmental meeting with a group of myself and 4 others on my staff. No distractions, other than the beautiful scenery. We cooked every meal, we never left the property, we had everything we needed on the boat. Ashley is wonderful!!!!, she made our experience/checkin/out so easy and painless and made sure we had everything we needed, and we did. We will definitely come back! Cant say enough about this place. Suzanne was so easy to work with as well! See you guys in the spring! Thanks again, Keith
