The whole property was wonderful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We could walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. There were 3 pools (that we found). Grocery stores were just a 5 minute drive away. If you use the microwave a lot, this condo may not be for you, as the microwave was really hard -almost impossible to figure out (as the owners noted on their wonderfully organized “welcome” sheets.) The condo was very “baby” oriented, with a crib, high chair…. Everything you’d need for a young child. One of the 3 bedrooms had a nice desk area for those who work remotely. Another bedroom had a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. The checkout process was the easiest I’ve encountered. I would definitely return!

We had a great visit. Location was perfect for activities all up and down the coast. Quieter location in a small-town feel but close to big city stuff. Wonderful access nearby to beaches and food!

Wonderful condo

Very nice property, nice location with close access to restaurants. Only downside is walk to beach does require several flights of stairs which are fairly steep and challenging for toddlers and when carrying beach supplies.

Being on the edge of Del Mar and Solano Beach was wonderful. Walking distance to multiple excellent restaurants with ocean views. The beach associated with the condominium was fantastic and very private. The condominium was as advertised with excellent amenities.

Peaceful retreat

It was our first time visiting Solana Beach. We had a small view of the ocean from the kids room. Everyone in the community was very kind. We even made some new friends at the pool who have been coming with their grandparents since 1976.

Ideal in many ways!

The unit was the perfect size for our family including two teens who need their own space! It was clean and bright and well stocked. We found nothing lacking. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable and the access to the beach made this the perfect place to unwind. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and we took walks on the beach every day. We went for excursions to our favorite attractions and restaurants and enjoyed a very restful week break from real life.

Big beach, big sunset

Lovely stay at this VRBO. By far and away the best part was the sunset and easy walk to the beach. The property is clean and spacious. The heated pool is across a Parking lot. My hearty teens had no problem jumping in, but the adults found it too cold. Nevertheless, a fun resource while on vacation.

the place was fantastic top to bottom. by the time all of the extra property fee's, cleaning fee's and service charges were done with, the place was twice the advertised rate. beware, you will spend twice the advertised rate!
