We’ve stayed previously in the Stargazers and loved it! The bathhouse was very nearby and it’s so great to have a little modern clean and private bath and shower! The weather cooperated and we were able to lie in bed and see the stars! Very relaxing for our overnight stay to start our trip to Montana!

I really liked this location. It was close to Custer State Park (I wanted to see bison), it was close to Sylvan Lake Lodge (trailhead for Black Elk Peak hike) and there wasn't a lot of light pollution at night, so stargazing was possible. The A-frame was cozy and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the heated mattress pad as it got down to 40 degrees overnight. The grounds were well kept and gorgeous... lots of pine trees, birds and deer. I would stay here again.

Amazing A-Frame

Dakota Dream provided an amazing glamping experience for our stay in western SD. Mackenzie does an amazing job of maintaining the property and giving you a truly unique experience!

Fun A Frame

Fun stay in the A Frame! It's not a cabin, it's more like camping/glamping. Cute and cozy. Mackenzie was a very accommodating, super friendly, great host. We also love Mongo the Brahma bull.
