Vacation in your PRIVATE home & tropical paradise either for an intimate couples getaway or with the whole family in your own private home/yard/HEATED pool (upon request) & only minutes to several popular beaches. The location of the home is literally like Central Avenue to anywhere you want to go… Clearwater is to the north, St Petersburg is to the south, Tampa is to the east & you’re centrally located to all of the best beaches! This home has all the comforts of home while on vacation. Avoid the crowds & noise of busy hotels, you'll enjoy this private, charming, beachy escape in this 2-story home. Located minutes to ALL beaches, popular shopping, dining, nightlife, sporting events & site seeing the Tampa Bay area has to explore.
Start your day enjoying the back yard in the morning or in your screened Tiki Florida Room & having your favorite cup of coffee, tea or Bloody Mary while watching & listening to a the birds & squirrels wake up. The Tiki Lanai has a large comfortable seating area with bar top, Smart flat screen TV and a large table to eat breakfast, lunch & dinner at.
Then head out to the lovey tropical, private backyard & pool where you can spend every day sunning on the lounge chairs or under the coolness of oak trees while listening to your favorite music from your phone on the Wifi/Bluetooth speakers around the pool. Set up the cornhole in the yard & fill up the pool floats then fire up the gas grill when you get hungry. When the sun goes down, light up the gas fire pit, watch the stars come out & enjoy with your favorite cocktail while chatting about your day, planning your next day & enjoying the relaxing evening breeze. There is also a neighborhood park 3 blocks away with tennis, wall ball & basketball courts & a playground for the kids.
Looking for more together time? Afterward, head inside to get cozy in the living room in front of the large Smart flat screen TV to watch a movie & eat popcorn, play cards or bust out a board game for fun.
To note, this is my & Levi (my dog's) personal home (the home is so clean you won't even know a dog lived there!) so you may see some personal decor items around the house. Also, per VRBO's policy, this is to note the property has 3 security cameras on site (front of garage, doorbell & overview of back yard). To note, there are no cameras inside the home.

Tropical get away

The property was well upped and the pool area was lush with plants. It was close to areas of interest for us. Laurie was a perfect host; very quick to respond to texts and accommodated our every need. The whole trip was a pleasure for us.

We had a small family gathering in Tampa

The house was perfect. We loved the Tiki bar area and the pool was awesome. Laurie was the perfect host. She was super attentive and willing to provide recommendations about the surrounding area. We definitely look to stay again in the future.

Backyard Tropical Oasis

Laurie was super quick to respond to all questions before and durning our stay. Place was super clean, and back yard was an amazing tropical paradise!! Would definitely stay again!!

One of the owners were born & raised in the same beach town as the home (officially born in St. Pete Beach) and is also a realtor & insurance agent. We LOVE to host our home as it is our pride & joy, especially the back yard tropical Oasis! We can also help answer most anything you want to know about the area as we are also very active in it & the community.

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood as it is a very family oriented community & we raised our children here. There is a great park just a few blocks from the home and it is also very centrally located to everything you would want to be near!

What makes this property unique

We've made our home YOUR "home away from home" so it not only has most everything you need but it provides warmth & coziness that most other short term rental properties don't. But what goes without saying if you've already have seen the photos is the back yard is truly an Oasis! We can't tell you just how much our guests said they prefer to play there then at the beach.
