Cheap and close!

For the price this is definitely one of the cheaper rentals out there that’s right next to the beach but also a decent quality and with a pool and plenty of linens will definitely stay here again!

Very close to restaurants, shopping, the beach. The Jolly Trolley was the next block down. It was clean when we arrived and had two bathrooms, which was much appreciated with 3 girls!

Dewey stay

We had a nice vacation. I was happy that a washer/dryer were in the unit. It was very noisy and difficult to make it dark in the rooms for sleep because of the location. I also thought the price was way too high.

Great Stay & Service - Needs Some Love & Care

Our stay was awesome. Perfect location, the property managers even got us into the property in advance of the 4pm check in. Property was clean upon arrival and we initially were very happy with our selection. With this said, it would be nice to see the owner provide some simple upgrades and basic maintenance to the house to make it a little more comfortable. But all in all, we would stay at any property Vacas manages, especially with the service. Hands on, timely and friendly. We just wish we didn’t have to call them as much as we did.

The building was utterly chained off, and no numbers on the building took me 30 minutes of walking around d to find my room. At that time, I got a parking ticket. vacasa was not much help. Just stay at the Hyatt.

Property is very average. Good location in the middle of Dewey. However, while majority of property was clean it was obvious it hasn’t had a deep cleaning in a bit. We rented in October and there were cobwebs in multiple corners. Construction everywhere on property. We also had an issue with the AC upon arrival. It was 81 degrees upon check in. And we weren’t allowed in early(4 pm check in) because of “cleaning “. So either the cleaners put it at 81 (doubtful)or it was broken or set super high to save $( most likely). Took 12 hours to cool down. Was able to text with customer service but still very annoying. Also had to check out at 10 AM which is earlier than most rentals.

I normally don’t leave a lot of reviews but i had to with our stay at the Opal. By far one of the best places we stayed at. My family and I have been coming once a year for the past few summers. This was the first time at the Opal and I could definitely tell you we’ll be back. The room was very clean and prepared for us. It’s as very spacious and didn’t seem tight for us at all. Having two full bathrooms was awesome. The biggest bonus was sheets and linens were provided! Including beach towels that I didn’t expect. They were clean and fresh and my husband also commented they were whiter then white. A huge stress reliever to know that that’s one less thing you have to pack as a family of 4 with two kids. Excellent location. Centrally located for easy walking to your favorite restaurants and bars. Quick trip across the street to the beach. The pool was awesome and was surprised to see a grill was available to have a cook out. This room was directly off the elevator, which again made it easy for loading and unloading luggage and things. Directly across the street was the stop for the jolly trolly making it an easy walk and ride over to Rehoboth beach and Boardwalk. The two parking spots were in a prefect location and not tight and crammed. Two suggestions I have to possibly consider is darker curtains for the bedroom to block out some late night lights and early morning sun rises. And possibly have some sort of hook to hold back the pooka shells that were in front of the washer/drier, it was a bit hard to load and unload the washer and drier while holding them back. Highly recommend to stay at 306s. Kudos to the owners, cleaning staff and linen service-awesome job!!

Nice location, very short walk to the beach.

Nice location, very short walk to the beach. Very convenient parking with a reserved spot right outside of the elevator that leads directly to the unit. Excellent communication with the property management company. Very clean property with very large master bedroom! As a heads up for anyone traveling with young kids, there is a lot of noise from cars and motorcycles on Coastal Highway. The property has large windows that let a lot of light through at night and during the day (to keep in mind if your child is trying to nap!). We were very happy with our stay here. There was a washer and dryer and dishwasher and a nice new fridge too. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Very nice!

We had a very nice stay! The condo was as shown on website. It was very clean, small but tidy and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the master tub which is very stained and kind of nasty. The unit has a washer and dryer which isn`t shown in the listing and when I emailed before the trip I was told there was not one so that ended up up being a real bonus! There is an elevator and stairs right outside the door that go down to the two dedicated parking spaces. The beach, restaurants, small convenience stores, ice cream shops were all within a quick walk. The beach is very pretty and we had plenty of room to sit everyday with lots of social distance. We went to the boardwalks at Bethany and Rehoboth which both were nice with lots of shops and restaurants and very short drives. We preferred Giants for groceries (the cleanest), shopping at Rehoboth or Bethany boardwalks. Our favorite restaurants were Nalu`s (which is within walking distance) and Mason`s Famous Lobster Rolls. We definitely will be coming back to the beaches of Delaware!! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
