The property was gorgeous and had everything our large family needed! Beds were comfortable everything was clean and the location just can’t be beat! We so enjoyed sitting on the dock and using the fire pit as well as visiting all the local attractions. We will definitely be back!
We had a great time at this house. The lake was the highlight for us. It is across the street but totally accessible and gorgeous. The house was large and had plenty of space for the 11 of us. We really appreciate the additional water toys and vessels. Warren was super responsive and detailed in all of our communications. You can tell there has been a lot of love in this house.
The house was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures don’t do it justice for how cute of a farm house it is. Walking distance to downtown too was great for getting breakfast. The dock across the street was so nice to have and it is right next to the boat launch so it made it easy to launch the boat. My dog loved playing fetch on the front lawn! My group of 12 friends have been doing a Fourth of July trip for the last 8 years and this is probably my favorite spot! The hosts were so great with texting and offering if we needed anything!
This property is secluded but right in town. Plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable. The park and beach across the road are perfect for small children. The hosts were great, they gave us several good tips about the area. We loved it.
We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Location is perfect. Close to the swimming area of the lake and a very easy walk into town. The host are wonderful to work with. They are very helpful.
This home was perfect for our family of 8. We had a wonderful stay. We know the area very well and this home is in a great spot. It was clean and beautifully kept. We look forward to returning. Andie B.
Trees was a perfectly lovely spot to be away for a few days! Cozy in the snow with a lovely view. And so close to Pleasant Mtn. Our hosts quickly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend!
Lovely house. Great owners. Very nice town. Only fair for bringing a boat. Otherwise perfect. And big, very big.

Thanks for the feedback! We are looking at improving our docking situation - always looking to improve the renters’ experience. You were great guests and we would be glad to host you again.
Our stay was so lovely! Warren and Caroline were gracious hosts and allowed my parents to check in early, they provided a tour of the property, and made sure everything that my parents asked of them was available. They were easily reachable by text or message if needed! The house itself was so charming! An old Maine home that has seen many things, and hosted many a gathering, we actually hosted our Vietnamese Wedding ceremonies and celebrations on Friday night right onsite in the dining room! Truly a wonderful stay & week. We will be interested to rent similar dates next year and host our one year anniversary!
This is the place for you if you like old country charm and lake life! We fell in love with this house the minute we walked in the front door. Everything about it made us feel at home. Access to the lake right across the road, a new dock, canoes and kayaks, beach towels and pfd's all ready for us! A public beach a short walk from the house. Enough chairs to put around the big dining room table for a game of cards, puzzles and board games. Large rooms, fully stocked pantry and a kitchen equipped with everything you need! Screened porch with picnic table and wood for the fire pit with lots of chairs around it! And pet friendly! Walking distance into a quaint town with all kinds of food, galleries, clothing and book stores, souvenirs, historical sites, ice cream, oh my! What more could you ask for! The hosts personally gave us a tour and a little history of the house, they were so awesome! We really didn't want to leave! Just loved it! Thank you Warren and Caroline!
Our family (4 generations plus dogs) stayed for four nights over new year’s weekend. The owners accommodated us at the last minute when our other rental fell through. They were so responsive and helpful, even provided a pack and play for our 1 year old granddaughter. The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed with kitchen equipment and supplies. Being walking distance to Bridgton village was a plus, yet at the same time, the home felt private and the neighborhood was quiet. Would definitely visit again!
Since booking, the homeowners were super responsive, and allowed us to take the lead on how much or how little contact we wanted while staying at their home. The house was very clean, and though quite old, felt very up to date. They provided a book with the history of the house, that was very interesting. Beach view from the house, as well as access to a private dock across the street. The use of kayaks and canoes was very taken advantage of every day. I highly recommend this home!
We had our 3 kids, 2 spouses and 6 grands. There was plenty of room for all. Several quiet ‘getaway’ spaces. Nice gathering areas. Plenty of fun family game spaces. Lots of games and books and puzzles to enjoy. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe very much. The beach and the lake are beautiful. There were plenty of essentials already provided which was so appreciated since we were arriving from Maine, Virginia and Louisiana.
The owners were very quick to respond to our questions and Chuck was amazingly helpful!
This was an amazing, quirky, comfortable home to stay for our 2 weeks. Thank you, Caroline and Warren!
Our three generation family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was perfect for the 9 of us - plenty of places to sleep and hang out. Very comfortable beds with nice linens and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials that made cooking for a crew fun and easy.
We ate many meals on the screened in porch.
The location of the house is perfect - easy access to the town beach across the street and a quick walk into the fun little town of Bridgton - especially for ice cream! Several of us enjoyed fishing from the dock across the street - this kept the grandkids very entertained!
We had a motor boat which we launched across the street and kept at the mooring that goes with the property. The lake is beautiful and all nine of us took several sunset rides.
We highly recommend this VRBO - The owners were very communicative and accommodating which always makes one feel that they care about their guests and their property. We would love to come back another summer!
My family and I had a fantastic week hiking, kayaking and swimming in and around the quaint town of Bridgton Maine. The large beautiful farmhouse had old world charm and the location was amazing. We had the town beach and boat launch right across the street, if only we had a boat...we could have used the mooring provided. Nevertheless there was also private dock across the street where we launched the kayaks the canoe and the river tubes we brought for a leisurely float on the crystal clear waterS of Highland Lake. The owners, Warren and Caroline, were consistently checking in to make sure things were going smoothly. A few weeks before our arrival they added air conditioners to the bedrooms to make sure we were comfortable in the extreme heat. If you’re looking for a place to take the family and enjoy the outdoors, this home would be an excellent place stay. I appreciated having four Bedrooms and lots of relaxing spaces to spread out in the house without feeling overly crowded with the kids and their friends We would definitely stay here again.
