You'll be greeted by the serene countryside and the welcoming porch, inviting you to unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Or, enjoy music festivals, craft and agricultural fairs, cider tasting, blueberry picking and more.

Inside, you'll discover 2 king sized beds, a queen and a full bed, a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the necessary appliances and dishes to prepare delicious meals. Gather around the dining table and savor the flavors of your homemade creations, or step outside and fire up the grill for a delightful alfresco dining experience.

Raft, tube, paddle, bike and hike in the Berkshires. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
This not the same as a hotel so we ask that you observe the following: At the end of your stay please put all trash and recycling outside in the barrels in the shed, and run the dishwasher.
Please leave the kitchen sink clean. Dirty towels go in the laundry room for us to wash. Please leave the sheets on the beds If you've used the blow up mattress please deflate it and replace it .
Please leave the sheets on the bed for us to change. Please clean up crumbs and wash the coffee pot. Take your food and chargers and please leave comments in our guest book.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please don't wear ski boots inside the house. We'd like to preserve the 150 year old wood floors.
Please be sure the shower curtains are inside the tub/shower to insure that water does not get out.
Please put your dirty towels in the laundry room basket before you leave. We will wash them and change the bed linens.

We had a great stay at the Parsonage. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the dryer but the handyman came within a few hours and fixed it. Communication was great and overall a great place to stay. We will certainly consider staying here again next time we visit the area.

Very thoughtful host. Everything was clearly laid out, and the host shares access to extra resources like laundry and fine dinnerware. This may be the nicest home my family has stayed in during a ski vacation! The home was warm and cozy and had every little item one could ever need. The place was ultra clean when we checked in, and even smelled inviting. The place was also beautifully decorated and felt like a real home, rather than a rental unit. The bedding was excellent, and all the appliances worked great. Finally, the host was attentive, communicative, and handled our small requests quickly. We will definitely be back!

had a great time at the parsonage and in the berkshiresvisited for a mtb race and this was by far the best stay in the charlemont area so far (been here s few times) great place, so happy to be able to walk to the local stores and then relax in the yard and on the porchwill be back for sure

Beautiful Home!

We came for a wedding in the area. Perfect for a large group! The house is bright and cheerful. Lots of great hiking trails close by. We would stay here again if we come back to the Charlemont area.

The Parsonage is very beautiful and in a pretty location very close to Berkshires East. My kids loved the spacious house! All the bedrooms were lovely and the bathrooms were very modern. Charlemont get together

Our group met at this charming, comfortable home for a family reunion. Charlemont is a quintessential New England town that offers gorgeous views and plenty of outdoor activities. We grew up close by, and skied Berkshire East, so it was fun to revisit the area. The host was happy to share her local knowledge and more than accommodating. Great Long weekend with friends

Two families reunion. Plenty of room. Very clean. Lots to do. Plus there were puzzles. We cooked there and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Easy to communicate with owner. A/C worked well. Good water pressure. The mountain coaster and ropes course were fun and challenging. Thanks!

Reunion

Weekend reunion with my family. The property was very nice. Rooms spacious and clean. The only negative thing I would say is the listing should state accommodations for 6 adults and 2 children or get a larger bed. One of the bedrooms the bed was very short and not a full size. Our shortest sister ended up with that room; however, her 6’2” husband ended up on the couch. Other than that we had a great reunion.

Thanks so much for your comments. We’re happy the reunion went well. The smallest Parsonage bedroom has a full size bed. The VRBO listing calls it a double because that’s the only option given by the VRBO site (other options are, king, queen, futon, single and Murphy). I’m sorry that anyone had to sleep on the couch. We bought this historic house in 2022 to invest in the community. We have another home in Charlemont only a mile away. Because we think the area has so much to offer we are hoping others will come and see for themselves.

Why they chose this property

Charlemont is in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts close to the Vermont border. It has access to wonderful recreational, cultural and dining options. We have another home in Charlemont and love it here.

What makes this property unique

The Parsonage has a charm of it's own with all the amenities a guest would want. We're so pleased with the renovation and guests seem to appreciate the details. Even an architect guest was impressed!
