None of the hot tub jets seemed to work at all.The noise from the road was a little surprising, it stayed busy most of the time.The actual cabin was great and cozy. Comfortable bed, beautiful scenery. Would stay again.

Location is amazing

The location of this property right on the creek was incredible. It felt secluded and peaceful, while still being close to Guerneville and Jenner. We loved sitting in the hot tub and listening to the birds. We even got to see a family of geese and their babies make their way down the creek. Fantastic stay.

Beautiful and peaceful location

We were very comfortable and had a great weekend stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful view of the river. We wish we could stay longer.

Great location on the crystal clear Austin Creek. Very comfortable furniture. Bedroom has lots of light. Great jacuzzi. The patio was very spacious. Set right in the middle of redwoods. Very peaceful.

Cazadero June vacation

Beautiful location on Austin creek. After our morning coffee, we would hike down along the creek with our pup (two-year-old Golden Retriever). One fay, we drove to Guerneville to meet some relatives and friends for lunch; and another day, we drove to Bodega Bay and picked up the world’s Best Crab Sandwiches and Clam Chowder (from Spud Point). Falling asleep with the sound of crickets, and waking up to birdsong… Absolutely the bes.

Perfect location for visiting the entire area.

Creek side location was peaceful and serene. I enjoyed walking the creek looking for rocks and the water was deep enough in one section for the dog to swim. The cabin was located a short distance from Duncans Mills and Guerneville. I also visited Occidental, Goat Rock Beach, Freestone and Armstrong Woods. I hope to return to this cabin again someday.

Magical Cottage on the Creek

We spent a week in this cozy cottage on the creek and it was peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating. It's rare that you can find a property this close to the water! The patio and hot tub were great amenities! The cottage is small and quirky, but that's part of the charm. We'll definitely rent this place again!

peaceful and cosy

Really enjoyed our stay here, the kitchen was extremely clean and wonderful to cook in, and everything has been set up very conveniently. An outdoor chair broke while we were there, but it was handled efficiently. Absolutely loved watching the creek and the birdlife. Very cosy in the evenings too. Thanks!

Excellent getaway

We decided to go for a getaway at the very last minute and we were so lucky to find this place. We stayed at the cabin for two nights. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the creek view and the privacy. There was even some water in the creek and we enjoyed walking along it. The host was great and when we had some questions we received a prompt response. I have already recommended it to my friends.

Quiet by the Creek

Enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet. Relaxing. Green! Took a minute to get the hang of the heaters, but they were warm! Could use a few more blankets just to have. Heads up to all tall people. There is one trouble spot. Lovely inside and out. Would love to return.

Lovely cabin in the woods, with a creek!

This was a very nice place for a peaceful getaway. The cabin is stocked with all the fundamentals in kitchen etc. It had the sharpest knives I have ever found (most rental knives are super dull). The hot tub was lovely. Access to the creek was awesome too. There are small fish in there! Best part was access to everything in the Russian River area. 13 mins to Guernville, 5 minutes or so to Duncans Mills, probably 15 minutes to Jenner. We had one minor issue in our stay and the management person picked up the phone at 5:30 on a Friday night, which was nice.

Austin creek sits right behind the house and the views from the patio and the large windows in the house are absolutely beautiful. It is a little steep to get to the creek but there is a great rope line to hang on to that makes it much easier and we had no problem navigating up and down. You just truly can’t get better than playing in the cool but definitely not too cold river during the day then lounging in the hot tub and dinning on the patio right above it after. Definitely a magical little spot!

A silver lining

Wanted a getaway from the Ca valley heat and July 4th fireworks , totally a great spot… didn’t hear a single one.Unfortunately , getting down to the creek in the backyard was impossible , it has no stairs just a rope and is beyond a steep journey . We did find other great water areas to go hangout away from the home . The cabin itself was perfect for us, opened the windows to the refreshing breeze whistling through the redwoods … I didn’t want to leave .Hot tub was a plus , although we followed the directions listed to keep it clean, we had to sit with quite a bit of sand and dirt in the seating area, especially since it stated it was cleaned just before our arrival on Monday .So yes, I was disappointed about not being able to get to the creek , but we didn’t let that break our vacation. We stayed a week and it was full of relaxation, one of the best vacation stays I’ve ever had .

Beautiful creek and patio

Beautiful creek property. Check in was easy. House was clean and ready upon arrival. Rear of property is especially nice.We all enjoyed exploring the creek.The gated parking was great. Only down side is the proximity to the highway. At night the cars passing on the highway seem loud and the headlights light up the inside of the cabin. Our teen slept in the loft area which has no curtain or blind. Adding a blind or curtains would block out the car headlights.

Excellent little cabin

My wife and I lived this little cabin along Austin Creek for our mini-honeymoon. It was a perfect place to relax after the stress of planning a wedding. 5 starts!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really cute cabin located right on a creek. The creek still had ample water in it, even for late in the season. Cabin is close to both Duncan Mills and Monte Rio for supplies and activities. There is a nice gate out front that makes the property more private. Management company was very helpful and quick to respond. I would just note that although the property does allow dogs, I would caution that it is on a very busy road and it is not fully fenced. If your dog is a wanderer, i would suggest always having them on leash when outside. Would stay here again.
