Comfortable cute Lakeside home

Very nice clean pretty home on the lake. Comfy beds, cute decor. Enjoyed the dock and on a hot day a swim in the lake. Equipped with all the things a lake home should have.

My family and I truly enjoyed the stay and having the water access right there was wonderful but the main reason for my five star review of the Management & beds.There were a couple of issues that came up/glitches and Allison the manager made sure we were taken care of quickly. Leading up to the vacation, during, and after Allison has been unbelievably quick to respond, and she has always gone out of her way to be helpful, including activity recommendation Assistance. She went above and beyond.The second main reason is those beds were so comfortable. Every single person in my family raved about them.

Relaxing and worry free!

Great place to stay! Allison makes it easy stay worry free. Everything you need is provided. We made use of the charcoal grill and loved having a washer/dryer on property. The lake view and ease for fishing and boating were wonderful. Definitely would stay again!!

Beautiful place. Beds were very comfortable. View of the lake was perfect! Only problem was that the pictures were a bit deceiving. The rooms looked larger in the pictures. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next year!

Our family of five had a fantastic time here this week, we thought our choices might be limited by looking for something pet friendly with enough space for three kids, but that was not the case. This cottage is exceptional, the host is communicative, and there’s something for everyone!

Fun family stay

This little French Country lake house was the perfect place for me, my husband, 4 kiddos and pup. Clean, comfortable and well stocked for our needs. The property manager was quick to address any needs we had. We will definitely be coming back next year.

My family enjoyed our stay at Lakeshore Cottage. The location is great, access to the water is convenient, the house was well stocked with any amenity, cookware, or kitchen appliance. We did encounter a few small hiccups to which the host was responsive to our needs within minutes and solutions were provided within hours. We definitely would consider this place as our vacation destination again.

This is a definite repeat rental! We will 100% stay here again when in the area. It was meticulously clean and organized. The decor was darling and we had everything we needed for our 3 night rental. The house is much bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside and we had plenty of room. Our host was super responsive to questions and it made for a very easy stay. A top rental in our book!

Great Property Right on the Water

Great Time at the Lake

This is a great property on the shore of Lake Egypt. The house is beautiful and well equipped. There is nothing like waking each morning to beautiful lake views from the large picture window in bedroom! Will defiantly stay here again when in Southern Illinois

Great Quiet Cottage on the Lake

This cottage was great and was beautifully decorated and recently updated. Everything was clean and well-kept. The morning view overlooking the lake from the dining porch was so serene. Not much flat yard space and maybe 30+ steps to get down to the pier, but was perfect for my young family and active kids.

Perfect little getaway

Our first impression was a bit rocky but the property manager jumped in and helped get everything straightened out right away. Such a beautiful lakefront home. Having the boat available to rent is a huge perk! Great sightseeing within 30 minutes of the house.

Great lake location

This is a beautiful house. Well cleaned. Nice lake access. We are swimmers and had great swims each day. We enjoyed the inflatable water toys available including a kayak. There is a noisy but friendly neighbor.
