Waltonia On The River is celebrating 104 years of family memories on the Guadalupe River! We have cabins on 10 acres and 600' of private riverfront. No crossing the highway to access the river. Our guests love Waltonia because of the large riverfront, the recreational area, and space to just slow down from the pace of regular life.
Cabin 7 is our most popular 1 bedroom cabin. Major renovation and everything is new! This vacation rental has one bedroom, one bath, and a walk-in closet. This cabin sits up a bit on a hill, giving it a great view of the river and property. Screened in front porch with wooden swing and table/chairs. Enjoy direct access to the river, with kayaks. Central recreational area with pavilion, playground, washers pit, ping pong & corn hole. Located between Ingram & Hunt. No parties/events. No pets. Check in at 3pm, check out by 11am.

Waltonia was perfect long week end getaway, beautiful cottage with a great patio area for bbq, all amenities in the kitchen and loved our too short 3 nights here.
Cabin 7 was perfect for two! Love the renovation and everything we needed was there. We had a beautiful weekend and look forward to staying here again.

Very nice motel. Friendly staff too. It’s newly renovated. Honestly it’s the nicest property in the very small town. Highly recommend it.
Loved the authenticity of the place and the history. The location and setting sum up the Texas Hill country feeling along the banks of the Guadalupe.
I also loved all the available amenities.
Perfect location to celebrate my future husbands birthday and ride the hill country. Cabin was spacious and clean.

About the host
Hosted by Mandi Lipscomb
My great-grandfather started "Camp Waltonia" in 1921 as a primitive fishing camp. Now, 100 years later, 16 cabins and a beautiful riverfront. I am the 4th generation owner/manager of Waltonia on the River. I grew up at Waltonia and love seeing folks making memories here.
Why they chose this property
This is a classic Hill Country retreat on 10 acres with 16 individual cabins. A shared recreational area in the center of the property, with ping pong, corn hole, washers pit, playground, volleyball and a basketball hoop. 600 feet of private riverfront access and NO crossing a busy highway to get your feet in the river! In the off-season, this is a great location for your "base camp", stay here and enjoy area state parks (Guadalupe, Enchanted Rock, Lost Maples, Garner).
What makes this property unique
A great place to make memories! Enjoy the stars at night, the sunrise and sunset over the river. A full day of outdoor fun!
