The property was great. We had an 8-person work team and this worked well for dividing up between the two properties. Kitchen facilities were good and the property was clean and well appointed. Perhaps an entrance rug on the side door since people walked behind the home to get from one property's door to the other property's door. Perhaps firmer pillows. Parking worked well for 8 cars.

Great stay

Our family came into town for a memorial service and we couldn’t have been happier with the house. The host was great, everything was tasteful, comfortable, and worked well. We had plenty of room for our extended family. We would love to rent it in the future.

The property was perfect for our group of 21 adults and two children, 4 and infant. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of good quality bedding and towels. Bathrooms were updated and clean and there was plenty of hot water available. Great laundry facilities. Kitchens were well-equipped. Sauna and hot tub functioned well. The outdoor spaces with decks, deck furniture and gas fire pits were wonderful for sitting and enjoying each other's company. Evening was breezy, so we utilized the curtains to enclose the deck space, so it was quite warm and cozy with the gas fire pit. Worked very well for our wedding weekend gathering as a nice family spot. Even though we thought it was one house when we booked many months prior, it worked out fine because one side was used for younger family members who stayed up later and the other side for family members who went to bed earlier and got up earlier. Host was an extremely good communicator and very responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wedding group

Stayed here with family for a wedding, we had a great time in this property. Very nice neighborhood, convenient. Really great kitchen. Bathrooms listed were not accurate, it was a half bathroom downstairs. But other conveniences helped make the bathroom situation disappear, had a great time at the property. Thank you

Overall our group had a good experience! The house is beautifully updated, close to everything fun in Ann Arbor, and the hot tubs/saunas were in good condition. Unfortunately, hours before we were set to check in, we got a message from the host saying the only indoor passage connecting the two sides of the house had to be walled off due to a city building inspection that had happened earlier in the week. We had a group of 20 adults and it was very challenging to have our group together in one space. We checked out and sent the host a message about receiving a small refund due to the last minute notice and inconvenience of the property not being as listed. We would have understood if they had said no to the request and just updated their listing for future guests. The messages we received back from the host were unacceptable - gaslighting, disrespectful, and malicious. No matter if the host didn’t agree with the request for a partial refund, they should never speak to a guest in the manner that was done. Again, the house was beautiful, overall we had a great stay, but the one connection being walled off between the two sides of the house, in the basement, inevitably did change the dynamic of our stay. We booked one house for our large group to be together, not two. If you book this house, you’ll have a great experience, just know you’ll have to walk outside (with not great pathways) to get to the other side. And I hope you don’t have any run ins with the host!

Fabulous House

Our family rented this house for graduation weekend and it was the perfect stay. It was very spacious and everyone had their own space to be comfortable. The house was decorated beautifully and had many amenities to make us feel comfortable. We really enjoyed everything about the house!
