Connor Point is a one of a kind property that has been very well maintained by the family who owns it. Their love and care for it is obvious, and this house is exactly what a Maine summer house should be like. We had a wonderful stay there and Meredith was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Thank you so much for a lovely week!
So close to many Acadia activities, sweet little town with great amenities, and the house itself sits on an amazing site that is great for sitting on the porch, watching the ships and kayakers in the sound, and enjoying time in the house- great for cooking, playing games, or even finding a little nook to read in. The house is a treasure, you can see the family has enjoyed it over the years. Lots of space. Would love to return again.
We had our 4 adult children, two spouses, and 2 grandchildren stay in this picturesque spot in Southwest Harbor. The house was everything we needed, with plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out. The location is absolutely the best. It’s quiet and private and has a magnificent view. Adults and kids walked on the rocks at low tide, played in the yard and at night we played board games. There are some trails nearby for hiking or you can drive into the main part of Acadia closer to Bar Harbor.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in, and we hit up a local lobster house for dinner, as well as, eating in Bar Harbor a couple of days for lunch. There is a lovely bakery close by and a grocery nearby too.
If you want a beautiful quiet spot to spend time with family, then this is it.

Thank you Deborah. I am so glad you and your family enjoy your stay.
We had an amazing vacation. The location was perfect. We saw seals playing and fishing, bald eagles, tiny crabs in the tidal pool, and even a mink hiding in the boulders at the breakwater. The house was roomy and comfortable, and the layout is great for a family gathering. Be aware that the arrow for Caleb's Cottage also goes to this property. Also, the pier/dock in the picture is not there. No big deal, as the tidal pools more than made up for it. Meredith is friendly and very responsive to messaging. Overall, a great experience. Oh, and Acadia is amazing. You can even walk from the house to the Flying Mountain Trail. The summit offers a wonderful overview of the area.

Four Winds
The cottage, Four Winds, is on the point of a peninsula just north of Southwest Harbor. It is a beautiful spot with its own beach and private dock. The house is roomy, clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The three front upstairs bedrooms open out to a large deck with lounge chairs and a hammock. Our family has enjoyed a vacation here for the last two years. We just loved taking the youngest kids on sea glass hunts on the rocky beach and watching the older kids of all ages swimming and fishing for crabs off the dock. We all enjoyed our meals on the patio while drinking in the peaceful views of the ocean with boats sailing by. Four Winds is a little piece of heaven tucked away on Mt. Dessert Island!

I live nearby in Someville at the center of the island with my husband and 2 dogs. My business is designing high performance home and feel so blessed to be able to spend my free time in the outdoors hiking the local trails and kayaking the coast.
Why they chose this property
My family has spent summers at Connor Point since 1975. This is our treasure and we enjoy the opportunity to share it with others for a few weeks a year. The location has often been described by friends as one of the best on the island. Quiet enough to experience lots of wildlife activity but also within walking distance to Acadia National Park and the town of Southwest Harbor.
What makes this property unique
One can spend endless hours exploring on the properties shore or just down the driveway, explore Acadia National Park with it's many trails and beautiful vistas.
